About Me
Hello, I have lived in Brighton for 8 years although I have now returned to Grimsby to support my elderly father. I have been a nanny for the last 18 years and have also worked in and around London and overseas. I have looked after many wonderful babies and children of all ages. Thankfully a lot of whom I am still in touch with now, along with their fantastic mummy and daddies.
I enjoy travel, yoga and also try and spend time doing voluntary work. I feel it is important to balance our lives and to ensure we give a little of our time to the local community and help in whatever way we can. I am originally from Lincolnshire, in the north of England. I enjoy nature, spending time with friends and family, cycling and being outdoors. I am an easy going, patient and friendly person who gets along with most people.
My Experience
I have worked with children of all ages, from newborn to teenagers, often living with families but now I prefer visiting families for daily/evening work. I have been a holiday nanny on many occasions, travelling with families overseas. I have been fortunate enough to have found jobs through word of mouth, I also have a excellent relationship with Tinies nanny agency and have been registered with them for 7 years. This means regular DBS checks, up-to-date first aid and regular reference checks.
My Qualifications
I have previously been Ofsted registered and completed the relevant child are training associated with this. I have completed Maternity nurse training, training for twins ( both with MNT reading). I have registered with the DBS checker scheme, which means every year the police check is done automatically with an annual fee. References are available and contact numbers for previous employees.
My Availability
I can work ad hoc, evenings or 1-2 days per week.
