About Me
Hi i am a 36 year old single parent . I live in KILMARNOCK. Ive been a registered childminder since 2012 and registered with caris, care inspectorate, scswis, and also with east Ayrshire council. I have a daughter who is 6 years old. She loves the children, I look after as she enjoys company and also interacting with others, she's came on so much mentally and physically and being around children of all ages has definitely helped her progress she attends the local school to which she is progressing amazingly. I have been brought up around young children, I have three young nieces and two nephews to whom i have regular as I love playing the auntie role.
I am a loving, caring and kind hearted individual. I have a friendly attitude, outgoing and love playing and interacting with children of all ages. I have many friends with young children whom I socialise with daily, which means the child socialise also.
Love going to softplays, swing parks and also other outgoing activities such as walks, feeding ducks etc, picnics and attending social activities that the local community might hold.
In my past employment i have worked in many care homes and looked after the elderly with either mental or health disiabilities. I thrive on looking after people and making their time spent with myself enjoyable, stress free and safe. Also i have worked for the majesty service which was HMP KIlmarnock Prison to which i worked in for 4 years. This job was througherly challenging and felt looking after children was more suited to my nature.
I am a non smoker. I have a two bedroom house which Is a large property. I am a car owner with no serious driving convictions.
I have also got a new addition to the household a Labrador puppy called willow she’s currently under a year old, she’s playful but very loving, she’s kept securely within the home.

My Experience
I have experience of working with children woth disabilities.. autism. ADHD. I have plenty of toys and activities to play and encourage social interaction, hand to eye coordination and to help stimulate education. I have workled in a nursery in my past employmnent where i done a visit for 4 months in a local nursery. This was when i was at the local college doing my first year in childcare to which i passed with a grade 1. I have always been surrounded around children and enjoy being with them and interacting. I couldnt think of a better way to see young children smiling when their happy, safe and enjoying themselfs. I love my job. I have recently qualified in a HNC childhood practice course at the local college where I post graduated may 2020.
My Qualifications
I am currently attending and doing courses to which the council are holding. I will be receiving attendance records and certificates for all. I have recently redone my first aid, my basic life support training, healthy eating, fire and safety, child protection and many more. All certificates are available to see. I have recently sat a 2 year venign class post graduate course for HNC childhood practice to which I completed and received my qualification may 2020.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.80 per hour
i charge 4.80 per hour per child, I can do pick up's or drop off's if required as essential (to be discussed further) and the fees include snacks and a sandwich or hot snacks.
