About Me
My name Maria, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, recently graded 'outstanding' for the second time. I live in Twickenham with my partner and our daughter.
My main aim is to provide a safe, warm and nurturing home environment with stimulating play, such as arts and crafts and various adult and child led activities. Children have access to activities in the local community such as rhyme time, playgroup, parks, playgrounds, visits to library and the pet shop. I plan special trips such as Kew Gardens and nature reserves where children have the opportunity to encounter and discover new experiences.
I provide daily, fresh home cooked meals, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.
l have a small secure garden with outdoor activities.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2007. As a mother I am in a unique position where I can relate to parents and see things from a parents perspective, but equally I am a trained practitioner, who can offer advice and support to parents when needed. I believe in working in partnership with parents and carers to help meet the needs of each child.
I have experience in looking after children with additional needs and specific dietary requirements, who range in age.
My Qualifications
I have completed my Level 3 Diploma in Home based Childcare and continue to undergo regular suitable training to further develop my skills in providing professional childcare.
My Availability
I have immediate vacancies for children in the 0 - 5 years age range. I work Monday - Friday 7.30am - 6.00pm but please contact me if you require additional hours.
