My son and daughter both have dysphagia which can make feeding and drinking an uncomfortable and dangerous experience. My son also has a submucous cleft palate and Autism. As you can imagine, finding childcare wasn't something I was comfortable about doing. Who would care for my children as well as I can? We went to a number of other providers and I wasn't keen on any of them and then we found Kat.
She's amazing with the children and so friendly . She keeps me up to date when we pick up and drop off, by text and via a contact book.
My children are always smiling when I collect them and she makes me smile too.
If she had a spare room, I'd move in!!
She is extremely professional and the children do lots of nice activities during the day to keep them busy, stimulated and learning.
Ofsted should have given Kat an outstanding because she most certainly is outstanding.

excellent childminder

kat looks after my young daughter... we moved to the area a few months ago and due to me working full time I was in need of a childminder....
I met with kat and my daughter immediately warmed to her... this was a huge relief for me and made the transition so much easier...
since then my daughter has fit in so well.. made new friends and just cant wait to go to kats in the mornings....
would highly recommend kat... shes a very lovely lady who is excellent wuth the children and makes them feel a part of the family!

Highly recommended

Kat has been my daughters childminder for nearly a year and I feel so lucky to have found her. She is patient, kind, gentle, imaginative and has got to know my daughter inside out. Whenever Kaitlin is with Kat, there is always something to do to fill her time. Kat always makes equal time for all the children she cares for, including reading with the older ones every day. Kats family are also very supportive and all make Kaitlin feel at home. Kat has shown great compassion when needed but has also had very defined house rules which I feel is so important to help settle a child and make them feel secure. Kat is extremely flexible with her time and has accommodated my changing work hours without question. Being in child are settings myself, I know how important it is to find the right person for your child and I have thankfully found that in Kat, and I strongly recommend her as anyone's first choice. I know next to me, she's Kaitlin a first choice and will be for many years to come! Thank you to Kat and her family for making Kaitlin feel part of it xx
