The best there is :)

My son has just started nursery at school after spending 3 wonderful years being looked after by Vicky and her lovely family. I cannot speak highly enough about all aspects of care provided by Vicky, she really takes the time to get to know your child and makes everything fun. My son has been treated like an extended member of their family right from his first day and lovingly calls her 'minky', he gets very excited if we see a car similar to hers and says that 'his minky' has that car! Vickys children are absolutely fantastic and love to play games and interact with children of all ages, her youngest boys have become my sons two best friends. This is a real home from home setting, Vicky packs so much into their time, baking, messy play, trips out, drawing, he always has so much fun. He loves all the pets and has learnt so much about animals. Vicky makes learning fun and my son has learnt so much from her. Lunch is always something tasty and fresh and she has a real skill in getting even the fussiest child to try new foods! Vicky is an absolute credit to her profession, she genuinely cares about the children she looks after and I felt so happy knowing my son was being looked after by such a wonderful lady and her amazing family, I cannot recommend enough! :)

Home from Home Child care

My son was minded by Vicky from a young age and grew up with her as one of her own. On many occassions it was a struggle to get him to say goodbye to come home as he was having far to much fun with all the minded and Vickys children. The setting is full of SO MANY activities, enjoyment and vicky is very much like mother earth in creating things for the children to get involved with and experience ( Playing in jelly and coloured pasta!!) Things that if Im honest would not be experienced at home. The one aspect of the service was that the setting had animals which is always a big hit with the children and being able to hold a chick would normally involve a day out. The food provided was fantastic as vicky offers new and exciting food to the children which again is not the case at home. This helped us with our son willingly trying new food. With all that is offered it made my desision to return to work so much easier!!!! Thank you xxx

Beautiful setting, first class childcare

Our baby girl and toddler boy both benefited greatly from attending Little Chickens Childminding. Their needs were well met and most importantly, they were both looked after as one of the family, playing and having fun with Vicky's children and animals. Vicky is extremely diligent in her attention to each child's personal, emotional and learning needs, and my little boy in particular flourished under her care. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
