Both of my daughters have attended Leighann’s house from 11 months old and my 2nd daughter is shortly finishing with her to ‘fly the nest’ and start school! It’s the end of an era after an amazing few years for both my girls who have absolutely loved going to Leighanns.
Leighann is incredibly kind, nurturing, calm, loving, organised and fun - just everything you’d wish for in a childminder. Leighann is incredibly reliable - again, something which is so important with childcare for working parents. She has always communicated excellently with us and kept us up to date with our children’s progress and what they’ve been up to etc.
Both my girls have always had genuine excitement attending Leighann’s, they’ve never ever hesitated about going in which I know can be quite a rarity for childcare settings. In fact they run in keen to get playing! My older daughter who is at school continues to love coming for odd days in the school holidays; the novelty has never worn off.
I would highly recommend Leighann as a childminder. She’s so loved by the children she cares for, and gives a lot of love back as well as being very professional. We can’t thank you enough for the care, love and learning you’ve given to both our daughters!

Leighann has been an incredible childminder for our family, caring for our children from the age of one right through until they started school. Her setting truly is a home from home—warm, welcoming, and full of love.
Our children absolutely adore her and her lovely family. They are always excited to go, which as a parent is such a comforting feeling. Leighann goes above and beyond, regularly taking the children to local classes, play sessions, and parks, offering them a wide range of stimulating experiences.
She is incredibly kind, nurturing, and completely tuned in to each child’s individual needs and personality. Leighann is also extremely organised, providing both daily updates and thoughtful developmental feedback, which has been so helpful in tracking our children’s progress and milestones.
We feel so lucky to have found her. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does, and it shines through in the way the children flourish in her care. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

My twin daughters have been with Leighann from 11 months - 4 years old. They are now going to school and Leighann will continue to look after them around schools hours and holidays.
Leighann is an incredible childminder. She’s kind and completely natural with them. They settled in really quickly and always have so much fun. They go to lots of classes and playgroups and even go on trips out to farms etc with other childminders.
I feel very lucky to have had Leighann look after my girls and couldn’t recommend her enough. She is fantastic.

Leighann is amazing! Our son Max was with Leighann 2 days a week from about 9 months to 4 years old when he started school. Leighann is extremely organised, excellent communication, loving and caring with the children and keeps them very well entertained. Max always loved going to Leighann's and we look forward to still seeing Leighann in the school holidays. We miss not seeing her every week. I would highly recommend Leighann!

I knew Leighann was the right person to care for my son immediately on her opening the door to us. Interestingly I had been very hesitant about using a child minder over a nursery and nearly cancelled the appointment to meet her, but i’m so glad I didn't! My son has always happily gone to her, often barely turning back to say bye to me as he runs inside to find his friends. Leighann genuinely cares for the children and takes them out daily to local groups and classes (pre covid). I really can't fault her. Just little things that keeps you assured, for example she always has her front door double bolted for safety, he always comes home immaculate rarely needing a change of clothes (unlike under my watch!), and is always well napped and fed.

Leighann looked after my little girl from when she was 13 months to 3 years old and was absolutely fantastic. My daughter loved going to her house and Leighann really cares for all the children as if they were her own. We met a few childminders and as soon as I met Leighann I knew she was the one as she instantly put me at ease with her friendliness, knowledge and experience. Since we have no longer needed a childminder my daughter regularly asks when she’s going back to Leighann’s house and genuinely misses her - the biggest sign of how much she enjoyed being there. I would not hesitate to recommend Leighann to anyone needing a childminder.

I have just met Leighann and I am very pleased with her .She welcomed me in her home , gave me confident answers and reassurance, when I addressed my concerns and interact with my little boy

Leighann has looked after our little boy since he was almost 6 months old and has become an integral part of his and our life. His face lights up when we approach her house and he's always happy to be there. Leaving your baby with someone is so difficult and a tough decision to make but Leighann really helped us along the way and made me feel comfortable and reassured. She's always there with advice if asked for and will follow your wishes to the letter. I can't speak highly enough of Leighann and the care she provides, any child would be lucky to have her as their childminder!

I can highly recommend Leighann to anyone who is looking for a child minder. Leighann has looked after my daughter since I returned to work in 2015. I have always felt comfortable leaving my daughter with Leighann, she has a very strong relationship with all the children in her care and my daughter is always happy to go. She enjoys playing with the other children and going out in the community. My daughter has developed quickly during her time with Leighann through reinforcement of the learning at preschool and at home. It is clear how and why Leighann received her outstanding Ofsted report. I would not hesitate in recommending Leighann to a friend, and I would use her again if I had another child.

I don’t think I have ever gone online to write a review about anything – so forgive me if I don’t cover everything or come across as gushy! We are moving to Singapore, and one of the hardest part of this decision was telling our childminder. Once I had a baby, I was initially unsure if I wanted to return to work, and if did, what I would do with my little girl whilst I was there. Then I bumped into Leighann at a library, and suddenly things started to fall into place. Leighann and her wealth of experience with children has been so much reassurance to me as a first time mother. Her experience with tantrums, fussy eaters/sleepers, illnesses and everything in between means that she has been so much more to me than a childminder. She has treated my daughter as if she was her own, and has been consistent with my own approaches. I have been fortunate, and every day that we have dropped our girl off, she just can’t wait to get into Leighann’s house and play with her friends. It feels very sad to be taking our little girl out of this environment now, but I remember being new to the area, and I wanted to share my experience.
