About Me
My name is Sue Cabell and I have a Foundation Degree in Early Years. My setting has been graded ‘Good’ by OFSTED. I live with my husband and two daughters (18yrs and 17 yrs) near Cemetery Junction in Charminster. I have been working in childcare for over 25 Years.
My Experience
I have NVQ3 in Childcare and NVQ3 Special needs, I also have a FOUNDATION DEGREE in EARLY YEARS. Along with these qualification, together, we have a multitude of additional childcare qualifications. Due to nearly all of the parents of the children in the setting being Teachers we are currently open TERM TIME ONLY.
We are registered under BCP council and therefore able to accept both the 2yr an 3/4 year funding. We enjoy doing topics, going on outings and ensure that the children in our care are supported and encouraged to extend their learning in accordance with the governments learning outcomes. We also ensure that the children have FUN! We use a childminding package which allows us to provide you with daily diaries ( full of photographs) sent to you via a secure network. The setting has dedicated playrooms with sleep room. We have a large secure garden and a large amount of toys and equipment for the children to play with. We are open from 7.30 until 5.30 Monday to Friday. I work with assistants and ensure that staff ratio’s are maintained. All staff are First Aid trained and have attended a safeguarding course.

I was graded GOOD in my last Ofsted inspection in Oct 2018. I will happily provide you with my Ofsted registration number should you wish to access this report.
I am fully qualified with and NVQ3 in Special Needs and NVQ3 in Childcare. I have completed my four year Foundation Degree in Early Years. I have multiple qualifications in childcare including First Aid, Safeguarding, Food & Hygiene and many other courses.
We use the Babysdays system at the setting to record and long the children’s development- this program enables us to share photographs, learning achievements, send messages and give the parents live updates on their child.We also use the Wellcomm speech and language pack to assess and track the children’s language development.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
We are open from 7.30am until 5.30pm.
We charge a daily rate of £50.00 for the hours 8.00am until 5.00pm
Additional Charges:
7.30am until 8.00am = £2.50
5.00pm until 5.30pm =£2.50
I accept 2yr & 3yr/4yr Government funding
We are open Term Time Only and do NOT charge when we are closed during the holidays.

My son absolutely loved going to Sue. She and her assistants are warm & open with a calm, serene setting. He thrived and within a month I could see the growth and confidence in him. I would have continued until he started school, but unfortunately, because we are shifting houses had to withdraw him. We are going to miss everyone that took such good care of him & couldn't recommend anyone else perfect to take care of your child!

I couldn’t recommend highly enough! Sue and her assistants are absolutely fab!! From the moment I viewed the setting I just knew this was the one! Sue has such a calm caring nature and her organisation in the setting is above and beyond with lots of toys and games! Truly is a home from home and a fabulous garden! My little girl settled in from the moment she arrived and she beams when we arrive and I drop her off. Communication is amazing and the online portal the parents have to view all about what our children get up to is great and so much information you couldn’t possible be anything but thankful for such a great setting!!
