I am a 32 and live in Welwyn Garden City with my Husband, Son and Dog, I moved here from London in 2018. I am a happy, punctual, reliable, organised and friendly young lady with a kind, patient and trustworthy nature. I am able to work from my own initiative but always keen to take instructions and am eager to learn. I am creative and enthusiastic and like to be active and busy. I am polite and respectful to others always considering their differences in beliefs. Non smoker. Automatic Driving Licence and own car. DBS. I used to be Ofsted registered but stopped when I went back into Nursery and school work as it was not needed (as you need to pay to register).
My Experience
I am Level 3 qualified and have room leader experience (Baby Room). I have accompanied and sole charge childcare experience of over15 years in nurseries (including montessori), schools, babysitting and nannying, including for twins and experience with various special needs. Across this time I have planned and implemented many activities for various ages. I have prepared children for school as well as worked in preschools and reception classrooms - teaching them their letters in a fun way and also phonics (from letter recognition to reading and writing) so am able to prepare children with a head start to school. I have prepared milk and a variety of meals and snacks for the children. I have changed many nappies and taught potty training. I have followed many different daily routines, catering for the children's individual needs whether it be dietary requirements (I also have epi-pen experience), different sleep times, etc. I have carried out daily observations, risk assessments, fire drills and written daily report sheets to relay to parents at the end of each day. I have dealt with injuries and administered medication. I have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the seven areas of development within it including Personal Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Communication and Language Development, Literacy Development, Mathematic Development, Expressive Arts and Design Development and Understanding of the World Development and have experience of activities to help children progress to the next level of these areas. I am on the DBS update system. Non Smoker.
