Fantastic

Today is a sad day for my daughter as she has left Lisa's care ready to start school in the new year.
When she started she used to cry everytime I left, now she practically pushes me out the door. She was a very picky eater, often eating nothing or very little so to hear she ate sausages, mashed potato and turnip with gravy almost brought me to tears. I cannot praise Lisa and Laura enough. The setting is lovely and lively and the children come first in every aspect. My daughter has thrived in their care and is now dry through the day, emotionally and educationally ready for school and understands more about sharing and turn taking than I could have taught her. You really have had a massive impact on my little lady and I look forward to sharing her journey with you. Thank you so much, Louise

The best by far

My son has been with Lisa for 5 years.
She is by far the best around. She is known as Auntie Lisa to the children but she has been more like a mum to my son.
I leave him with Lisa and know I have no fear and he is in safe hands. As a parent you feel part of Lisa s family.
Over the years I have become good friends with Lisa and I hope that continues.
Unfortunately my sons mum passed away and lisa helped both me and my son through the hard times...
You will not get a better child minder in the area and i cannot thank her enough

Long Term Childcare

My two children have been cared for by Lisa since my little boy was 9 months old and my daughter 2 years. They are now about to turn 5 and 7 and we are no longer in need childcare but have been happy with the care and home from home environment Lisa has provided through their formative years. Lisa always welcomes the children and parents into her home and you very much feel like you and the children become a part of an extended family. The home is set up with the childrens needs in mind, there are numerous activities and toys for the children that are all well looked after and rotated often. My children do not eat with Lisa other than at breakfast time, but breakfasts are always well balanced and plenty of choice on offer. Before my children began school Lisa used to take them to all kinds of extra activities, from playgroups to music groups and also took them out on day trips to the park and other places like Nostel Priory. I cannot recall a time when Lisa has had to cancel childcare as a result of illness or other issues so she is very reliable in this sense. I have always felt my children were loved by Lisa and they will miss her as will I, we will stay in touch as friends and I really think is testament to the service she has provided.

Happy little boy

My son has been full time with Lisa since just before his first birthday and he is very happy there. He is now 19 months and has a very structured week involving music groups, a dancing group, a playgroup and lots of playing and other opportunities that are all really helping his development. As a parent it is really hard to leave your little boy everyday but the fact that he loves going to Auntie Lisa's makes it much easier and mixing with all the other children there, whilst in a very safe and familiar environment, has really improved his social skills. After looking around we chose Lisa because as soon as we walked in the door it felt like a home from home and we have been very happy with our decision!
