Regina and Claire have cared for our son over the last two years. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them both.
The setting is a designated room in Regina’s home. A bright and inviting playroom. They provide fun and stimulating learning for the children. Lots of painting, crafts and outside fun. Our son used to cry when dropped off at our previous childcare provider but at Regina’s we barely get a wave goodbye. My son has come on so much in their care. We were supported with every milestone from toilet training to learning to be more independent with putting on shoes, coats etc.
Our son has made lots of friends and parents are encouraged to meet for play dates etc. We are always kept fully informed of all the daily adventures with a daily update and many photographs.
If you are looking for a kind and caring environment where you are met daily with a smile and good humour then this is the setting for you.

Regina and Claire have looked after both my children for several years and I could not be more grateful for the care, kindness and attention they have always shown them. Both my children have been so happy and settled there and it has truly felt like a home away from home for them. Their warm, nurturing environment has really helped them grow in confidence and enjoy all of the learning activities as well as make good friendships with the other children. Regina and Claire are also excellent at communicating and have always made sure I'm well-informed about how their days have been, and they have been quick to mention anything they think I should be aware of. I honestly could not have asked for two kinder, lovelier people to look after my children, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I have used Claire and Regina since my first born was 2 years old and my youngest was 6 months. From the start my children have been welcomed every morning into this warm and caring environment.
I have absolute peace of mind leaving my babies with Regina and Claire. They are core professionals, highly meticulous and very kind and caring. They are an amazing duo that are so committed to the children in their care. They are very attentive to all their needs, their development and their wellbeing.
My babies are always smiley and happy when me and my husband collect, and my eldest doesn’t stop speaking about her adventures with “Gigi (Regina) and Claire”.
I couldn’t recommend them enough, my kids love going to spend time with Regina and Claire.

My daughter started with Regina and Claire from when she was nine months old. From the very first day they showed such kindness towards my daughter.
We receive daily updates with beautiful pictures of our daughters day, filled with fun and lots laughter.
They have an excellent knowledge on all aspects of the EYFS development and this shows throughout my child's time with them, from learning to walk and talk.
Both Regina and Claire always have a welcoming smile, a kind word and create such a fun, caring environment for children to learn while having lots of fun.
We cannot recommend them highly enough. Keep doing what you are doing as you are amazing Childminders.

My daughter started at Regina’s in October, doing a few sessions per week. At first I was very pleased, as she seems to settled quickly there. But then the problems started to occur: my daughter (2,7yr then) wasn’t used to have babies around and was not happy when they tried to approach her. So Regina told me that something is wrong with Sophia and I should be worried. I had to consult a therapist to confirm that it’s actually a normal reaction for many kids. Then it turned out that Regina expects you to pick up your child in the event of illness within an hour. I was at my job interview, and they started calling me and texting me, saying Sophia’s got HFMD(which they diagnosed themselves, and I’m still not sure if that was the case) and should be picked up immediately. Obviously, it took me longer to finish my interview and get there, and Regina was very unhappy and cross with me when I picked up my daughter.
And since I got the job it just became a disaster: she had upset tummy one day (not stomach bag, but food poisoning) and again they stressed me out with calls demanding to collect her immediately (I was at work). Then she had an eye infection and they refused to accept her, although we started the treatment and she only had a slightly red skin colour around her eye (no discharge). So Regina is following her own sickness policy, which is based on her fears and judgement. She is not following NHS or DFE guidelines (kids with HFMD and conjunctivitis can go to nurseries, the infections is spread long before you see the symptoms). And I would understand that’s it’s her house and her rules, but why should I be paying for this?Funny enough, all these infections she got from their place, as we didn’t go out to any playgrounds or classes then. And worst of all, is that it turned out that my daughter, who is trilingual and she speaks a mixture of all languages, had not said a single word while was in care of Regina and Clare. And I was made aware of this only 4 months later since she started. I’m still shocked and feel so sorry for my girl, who obviously was under so much stress that she didn’t feel comfortable to talk there.
We have started with a new childminder now, and at her first day she started to talk in her usual trilingual way.
So I would definitely not recommend this childminder to anyone, they are not reliable and should be working with children.

We are saddened to read your review. With regard to our Sickness Policy the safety and health of all children in our care is of paramount importance. We are a home from home setting and pride ourselves on the kindness we show everyone within our setting. We wish her all the very best moving forward.
We are delighted with the wonderful care Regina and Claire provide our daughter with. We chose them because they are kind, supportive, encouraging and nurturing of our daughter and the other children’s needs. Our daughter really enjoys being with them both and I love the relationship they have with her and the children in their care. We chose a childminder over a Nursery as we like that our daughter is taken out to the park, for a walk, soft play and to the shops etc. Providing her with real life experiences which is what I would do if I were at home. It’s a home from home environment where is happy, safe , well cared for and because of this she is learning. They always provide a diary of what our daughter has done, eaten, played with and her toileting habits for the day which is very useful. Seeing the progress she has made is fantastic and it’s great to celebrate her different milestones together. We love the various things she creates when she is there and our daughter has made some super friends too.
We would highly recommend Regina and Claire as they have such positive relationships with both the children and parents that naturally the children flourish in their care.

We could not be happier with the care, attention and excellent stimulation that Regina and Claire provide for our daughter. From the very beginning, we have found them both to be warm, open and utterly professional. They sought to establish a positive relationship with our daughter straightaway, and they managed her transition to a new setting expertly.
As a result, our daughter has a lovely bond with both of them, and very much enjoys being there (so much so she was asking to see them over the Christmas holidays!) It is also really clear that they provide an excellent learning environment. Since she has started with them, her language has really developed and it is clear they have challenged her to learn songs, count and most of all improved her manners! It’s clear that they work hard to support her learning as an individual but they also ensure she develops really positive social interactions with the other children their care. In addition, they provide a range of activities in the local area; it’s always really nice to hear when they’ve been out to the park, and the local soft play. They clearly do a lot of different activities with the children both in and out of the home and we feel our daughter comes home happy and just the right amount of tired after a stimulating day with them.
We can state all above confidently because their communication with us as parents is excellent. They have a daily diary so we always know what they’ve done and how she’s been. But this is in addition to this, they always take the time to have a friendly chat at pick up where they fill us in about the day and it’s very much appreciated. It was also lovely to see her larger learning journal which was sent home over the holidays for a more detailed look at how she’s meeting targets.
We can honestly and confidently say that Regina and Claire are truly excellent at what they do and we are so grateful that they take such fantastic care of our daughter. We trust them entirely with her safety, development and well-being and really value the warm, caring environment they provide.

From the moment I made my initial enquiry I felt confident I could leave my daughter with Regina and Claire and she would be safe, happy and stimulated. I was reassured by Regina’s professionalism, we met and Regina showed me where the children are looked after. Regina talked me through their planning, policies and approach to childminding in detail. Both Regina and Claire spent time playing with my daughter with me there. They asked me lots of questions about her likes and dislikes, the ways I settle her and her routines. I felt I was really listened to. Regina often uses the phrase, ‘we’ll be guided by you.’ Knowing our parenting approach is valued by Regina and Claire is something we really appreciate. It certainly made it easier to leave her when she was just 10 months old.
Our daughter’s personal development has come on leaps and bounds since she has been attending childminding sessions. She is so happy when we take her in the mornings, we know she is having a brilliant time.
They have so many lovely toys, activities and ideas to develop our daughter's knowledge and understanding of the world. We also really appreciate that they take the children out to the nature reserve or parks and spend lots of time in the garden too.
Regina and Claire have shared all of our daughter's successes with us by sending us pictures, writing us notes in a daily diary and tracking her progress in a lovely learning journal. We love their positive approach and good humour when she does something new or achieves her next milestone.
Although we are extremely grateful for all the hard work, careful planning that go into ensuring our daughter is stimulated and rapidly learning so many new skills, I think what we are most thankful for is simply how safe and happy she is under the care of Regina and Claire. Our daughter's sunny nature, positive self esteem, confidence and resilience are what I am most grateful to Regina and Clare for developing. The fact she has learnt so many new skills along the way is a reflection of the loving and nurturing ethos Regina and Claire have created that underpins their childminding service.

Regina has been looking after my son since he was 9 months old (he is now 3) and Regina and Claire have been looking after my daughter as well since she was 6 months old (she is now 20 months). They couldn't be more welcoming. It is a home from home environment.
I couldn't be happier with the childcare that my children are receiving, being looked after by Regina and Claire. Regina's house is well equipped and is a great setting. She feeds my children health meals and snacks. My children are thriving in her setting. She spends time with each of them, understanding their needs, and helps them to grow and develop. My son loves learning and Regina teaches him through play and they have great fun. They both love playing with the other children at Regina's. Regina and Claire provide me with a detailed daily diary of activities that have taken place. They enjoy regular walks to the nature reserve and do yoga, drawing with chalk and stamps, they observe different festivals, play and learn about different textures, they learn numbers, colours, sounds and dance. They care so much for every child they look after.
My children look forward to seeing Regina every day and are so happy, and I can see how much they are learning and developing in her care. I am delighted with how my children have grown with Regina, she is a wonderful childminder.

Regina is a very nice lady, with a large, clean house that has a great playroom/classroom that leads out onto a large garden . She does a lot with her children as 2 year olds can count to 20 and recognise numbers, shapes, colours and A-Z letters. She does crafts, cooking, singing, maths, reads to them and goes on regular nature walks in the nature reserve near her house. She has a cheerful, fun personality and the children model this in happy, good behaviour.
