I had a phone conversation last Saturday with Yasmin and she was really helpful and answered all my questions and was very professional and polite.
During this conversation we arranged for her to visit my home the following Friday (today), to meet the children and go through her documentation.
I have since tried to contact Yasmin in different ways over the last few days, including regular text message, WhatsApp message, the messaging function in childcare.co.uk, phone calls, and WhatsApp audio calls. I have also left a voicemail.
I’m not sure what has happened but none of the calls were picked up or responded to and none of the messages were replied to. The WhatsApp messages were delivered but not read and the regular text was read shortly after sending, but not replied to.
I’m hoping nothing bad has happened and that everything is alright, but I am left feeling very confused about what has happened.
I’m sure Yasmin is great at Nannying (if that’s even a word), judging from the many excellent reviews. I am however left very confused and unsure whether I am purposefully being ignored or if there are other reasons regarding the profound lapse in communication.

Yasmin has been doing ad hoc night nannying for us for a few months now. This has involved staying in our house and looking after our eight month baby to ensure he has a settled nights sleep. She has just been fantastic! Really approachable, reliable and trustworthy. We feel very comfortable with her caring for our baby and would not hesitate in recommending her to others.

Yasmin helped with looking after my two boys. She has good work ethics- always punctual, very likable personality and the boys settled with her. She’s responsible with diligent.

Yasmin has very kindly helped me with my 10 year-old daughter for afterschool care a couple of times, involving picking her up from school, driving home and looking after her until we return back from work.
We are extremely grateful for the amazing work that she is providing for us. First of all, she is very punctual, professional, responsible and trustworthy. You can totally relax when she is with your child. But although she is very serious with her job, she is very funny, friendly and lovely with my daughter. My daughter is looking forward to the next time with Yasmin and so do I. I can’t thank her enough for what she has been doing for us…

This was our first experience with hiring a babysitter and as such this was a nervous process. In the maze of all the babysitters out there finding the right person, someone you can trust and someone that your children will also like, seemed like an impossible task at first.
We were extremely grateful that we came across Yasmin. She is very professional, comes prepared to show you her qualifications, certifications, experience, and testimonials. Our girls loved her and were wanting to play and talk to her almost instantly. Yasmin has a very friendly and open demeaner and her passion for the kids is plain to see.
Her regular updates on how the girls were doing helped ease our anxiety while we were out. Our then, 4 year old was gushing with praise for Yasmin and wanted her to come back right away. Even our 15 month old had run up to her with open arms and this was from a baby that has had minimal contact with people because of COVID. This was the reassurance that we had wanted and we wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again.

Yasmine started helping us with child care since June this year. Since then she’s been a saviour I feel. Her flexibility with timing has been a such a comfort for me with my irregular work schedules. She is punctual, trustworthy, well organised and responsible I can tell. Also she is quite good in adhering to what we want for our daughter. She is very kind and patient with my 5 year old daughter. My daughter simply adores her and always looks forward for Yasmin to come.

Yasmin is very reliable and always makes an effort to go above and beyond with my 2 children. My children have formed a lovely bond with Yasmin and always look forward to spend time with her as she always has fun activities planned for them. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a nanny.

Myself and my wife were very anxious and nervous when it came to requiring a nanny for our two boys. We have had a few bad experiences in the past and felt history would repeat itself. Until we met Yasmin, she came highly recommended from our local circle and after reading her profile, it was clear to see her skills and experience are unmatched. It was a no brainer that I would contact her and arrange an interview with a view to acquire her services for our boys.
Me and my wife are not the most trusting of parents and are always very cynical and selective with regard to our boys, however all that changed from speaking & meeting Yasmin. This bright, polite and positive young lady alleviated all doubts and worries me and my wife had and until this day stands as one of the best decisions we have ever made.
Yasmin is very reliable, trustworthy and a great time keeper, very well organised, considerate, caring and takes pride in her work, we could instantly see why she was recommended to us and why she is in demand. Our two boys have an incredible bond with her, they love having Yasmin around, they really do look forward to their time with Yasmin and their level of comfort with her is so assuring for us, it has helped us so much with our respective careers, we can’t thank Yasmin enough for all her work and help these past few months and can’t put into words how amazing she is with children, fantastic service all round, highly recommend.

We were so happy to read all the positive reviews and were very keen on taking her services for our baby. Unfortunately, she made us wait a week for the initial meeting and then didn't appear for meeting. We dropped messages and also tried to call but she didn't bother responding to anything, let alone apologising for miscommittment.
Really disappointed!

I appreciate the feedback.
To respond to your concerns, I didn’t make you Wait a week, You contacted me on Wednesday for an initial video call then we agreed to meet on Sunday as I had work commitments on Thursday and Friday.
Over the weekend I had an unforeseen family emergency and didn’t have time to check my phone or respond to messages. I sent you a message today apologizing for not responding to you or not being able to meet you today.
I think it is quite harsh to judge so quickly without getting in contact with me to find out if everything is okay from my side.
Given the meeting was only supposed to happen a few hours ago.
Yasmin is a really lovely and very caring person. She comes on time (6am) as I am due to leave for work, very trust worty in our home with my 2 children. Gets them up, showered and ready for school. Gives breakfast and takes them to school. She even does some housework for me which is a bonus.
The children really have taken to Yasmin and feel comfortable with her.
We are really happy to have found Yasmin via Childcare.co.uk.
