I had high hopes when hiring Latonia for my 7-year-old daughter, but unfortunately, our experience was far from positive. Initially, Latonia canceled our first in-person interview last minute, which should have been a red flag. We rescheduled, and she was charming at the next meeting, promising reliable care and confirming her start date for the 27th January 2024.
However, after agreeing to start on the 27th during the interview, she later requested to begin on the 3rd of February, to which I agreed. Communication seemed fine until the day she was supposed to start; Latonia failed to show up or respond to any messages or calls, leaving me in a difficult position and forcing me to cancel all my work plans for the day.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend her services due to her unreliability and lack of professionalism.
If she didn't want the job, she could have let us know. It's not cool to mess with people's lives like that...

I always aim to give families a calm, caring and reliable experience. I had one situation early on that didn’t reflect the quality of care I stand by today, and I’ve grown a lot since then through experience, reflection and further training. I’m happy to speak directly with new families and offer references who can share more about my current work.❤️
