Millie (or Melissa) helped us out last minute (literally) when our planned baby-sitter dropped us on the day of our wedding. Millie replied instantly to my frantic messages asking her if she was available to help watch our 5 month old daughter that evening, during our wedding reception. She made me feel instantly at ease, when she arrived that evening, with her warm personality and her shared stories of her own children. We had planned for a 7pm bedtime and then to leave our sleeping daughter under her care, only to have a very tricky bedtime where our daughter (clearly having a bit of FOMO) refused to go down, after over an hour of trying to get her down, I had to leave her awake with Millie to get back to our reception guests. Any fear I had of my daughter being unsettled and overtired, was instantly squashed, because within 30 minutes of being with Millie, she had managed to get her not only sound asleep but also managed to transfer her (if you know, you know - transfers are super tricky!!) into bed. I was able to be super present at our wedding reception knowing that our little babe was asleep & content.
We had never had a baby sitter before, and there is naturally always going to be some hesitation going into it, because no one knows your baby like you do, right? Well? If that’s you - Millie is your lady! Her calm & nurturing nature will make you feel instantly at ease and you’ll be left wondering what kind of magic she is made of, because she will quickly pick up on your baby’s nuances and care for them in ways you thought only you could.
I’d have Millie look after our little girl again in a heartbeat, it’s given us the confidence to have the odd date night now, which felt a far fetched dream a few weeks ago.

Loved our experience with Millie. Very professional, warm and went out of her way to help us with our baby girl. Our baby was so happy with Millie.

Millie babysat my two boys when we were on holiday in Cornwall. She is extremely experienced with children of all ages, a lovely positive person to have around and a great communicator. I would highly recommend her as a confident babysitter who can get on with everyone and really loves working with children.
