Wonderful support

Melanie joined us to provide after-school care when my wife was suffering from terminal cancer. She stayed with us throughout my wife’s decline and death and for a period of a year thereafter.

Her duties have included parental support, managing the children’s affairs, an organization of school and home clothing, babysitting, managing petty cash and general after-school support including pickup, laundry, and food preparation.

Mel has been an outstanding support for our family. She has always been on standby in case of an emergency and has always been both reliable and flexible.

She joined us during a very difficult period of our lives and was tremendous throughout difficult times, building a strong bond with the three boys and providing steady, sensible and practical support for me as a single parent. She has enabled me to maintain a healthy, happy and strong family life with a calm, caring and compassionate air throughout. She works with the children brilliantly, anticipating and meeting their needs whilst encouraging independence and personal organization. She's great fun to work with and absolutely to be recommended

I feel extremely fortunate to have found Melanie to care for my baby daughter. She always puts the child's interests first and provides a safe and truly caring and enjoyable environment - I have always felt assured my daughter was in goods hands from day 1.

In addition to requiring good quality childcare, which every parent looks for, I also needed quite demanding hours. Melanie has been very easy to get along with in negotiating these, she is very well organised and totally reliable and dependable.

In summary, Melanie is a credit to her profession and I only wish our family wasn't moving!
