Amazing childminder.

I have used Ruth now for well over a decade and can whole-heartedly recommend her as a childminder. Her setting is safe, friendly, fun, educational and comfortable. Ruth herself is brilliant with the children and always treats them as unique individuals. She is compassionate and always strives to be top of her game through offering best practice policies and keeping ahead of any changing childcare guidelines. Her term time (for little ones) and holiday agendas (for all) are varied and exciting for the children and my kids always begged me to go there as often as they could! She always has a great mix of indoor and outdoor activities planned and there is always an important learning aspect to each event - often with appropriate arts and crafts follow-up afterwards. Everything is always so well thought through. In my son’s words: ‘she is funny, kind, playful, always happy and always has brilliant ideas for activities and I really love her’. I think that really says it all! Fully recommend her. Best childminder ever! Xx

The Absolute Best

5 stars are not enough for Ruth! We couldn’t be happier with the care that she provides for our son. He settled instantly at Ruth’s and has loved every day with her since.
Ruth’s planning is meticulous, from menu planning to weekly and holiday outings - there isn’t a second for a child to be bored! I have zero guilt having to leave him to go to work a few days each week as I know he is having the absolute BEST time with Ruth.
We get daily updates and pictures, which is so lovely to be able to see what they are getting up to, and more days than not our son arrives home with crafts or little thoughtful gifts from Ruth (yesterday he arrived home with a pot of jam he made with Ruth after picking blackberries in her garden). Ruth has 2 grown up sons, so she isn’t caring for her own children at the same time. She has been so flexible and nothing is too much trouble. Our little boy had some delays in walking and Ruth has done everything she can to do the exercises and advice given by physios to get him on his feet quick! Her OFSTED outstanding grades are so deserved (and rare to see) and speak volumes for the effort she puts into providing the best care for our little people. I would recommend without any hesitation - I think she is Superwoman!

Fantastic childminder

Ruth has looked after my little one for a number of years and he loves spending time with her and the other children that she cares for. She is so organised and offers some really good trips and events during the school holidays.
