About Us
We are a small, creative Church of England primary school where every child knows that they really matter and are valued. Our school ethos is built upon six core Christian values, chosen by our school community: Friendship, Respect, Hope, Honesty, Perseverance and Creativity. All our staff aim to ensure that they foster the individuality of all children’s interests and experiences. Our children are happy, confident and share our passion for learning. They achieve well and make outstanding progress throughout their time with us.
Our school motto: "Achieving together, learning for life” underpins our aims.
The learning and teaching at Clanfield CE Primary School is innovative and our curriculum is carefully planned to enable us to teach all the National Curriculum subjects in a creative and inspiring way. We engage our children in a range of exciting and engaging activities that develop their knowledge and skills, equipping them for life in the 21st century. Please visit our class blogs and see for yourself, where you will find a wealth of information, pictures and film clips of recent events involving our pupils both in and out of school. I hope that it will give you a little taste of what everyday life at Clanfield CE Primary is really like.
Visitors to our school are always welcome. Please don't hesitate to contact the school office to arrange a time to come and see us.

Our Childcare Provision
Our Extended Service Clubs provide a wide range of fun activities in a warm and welcoming environment. Children can use the iPads, laptops, board games, Lego building blocks, cars, dolls and many more toys. In the better weather they play outside and use the schools outdoor resources.
Places at both clubs are restricted and priority is given to pre-booked sessions. Parents are invited to enrol their children by completing a Booking Form; individual days, week(s), month(s) or term(s) are available. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
EARLY BIRD CLUB – this Breakfast Club is supervised by a member of staff and costs £3 per child, per day. Breakfast is offered as an optional extra free of charge. The club aims to give children a calm and relaxed start to their day and is open from 8am – 8.45am (Monday-Friday) during term time. and Registration.
AFTER SCHOOL CHILDCARE - the ASC Club runs from Monday to Thursday during term-time. It includes a light snack and drink. Organised for the children’s enjoyment, this Club combines art and sports activities together with a variety of fun-based interests specifically aimed at primary aged children.
• Session 1 runs from 3-4.30pm @ £6 per child
• Session 2 runs from 4.30-6pm @ £6 per child
Absence & Refunds – notice of absence must come through our main School Office. Refunds will not be issued unless the cancellation request is due to child sickness/injury which keeps the child away from the Club for three consecutive sessions. Sickness/injury would need to be validated by a doctor’s note.
Staff Ratios – the ratio of staff to children is fully in line with all statutory requirements. We operate a strict 1:8 ratio of adults to children for children aged 4-7. For children aged 8+ we aim for a 1:12 ratio.
