About Us
Oasis Academy Watermead is a brand new purpose built primary academy which opened in September 2014. We currently have places for 60 reception aged children and 52 part time Nursery children. In January 2015 60 additional places were made available for children in Years 1 – 5. Numbers will increase year on year to create a two form entry 420 place Primary Academy for pupils aged 3 – 11 years. It is a happy place where learning is fun and exciting. Our curriculum is rich and vibrant taught through cross curricular themes and projects. Developing a love of reading is central to our curriculum design. Working alongside artists, musicians and actors we will develop confidence, learn to sing, visit theatres and follow our dreams. Our team are passionate about achieving the very best for every child. A commitment to being an outstanding school with inspirational teaching and learning is our expectation. We ask our children, their families and our community to celebrate each moment of our journey alongside us so we can together feel proud of all that has been achieved. Every child is welcome here regardless of need, background or ability. Our purpose built facilities provide quality learning environments both inside and out of doors. It has been designed to accommodate children and families with disabilities with easy access car parking spaces and entrances throughout. A lift is available for use to access the upper floor and there are toilet and changing facilities on both floors.
