About Me
I am a 23 year old Class Teacher in a special needs school. I am available for childcare around school working hours (mainly at weekends, but evening availability as well) I am passionate about learning through play and being outdoors, and love to get down on children’s level and engage in a range of activities with them.
My Experience
I have over 6 years experience working with children of all ages and capabilities, from as young as 3 weeks old up to 18 years. Most recently, I have worked as an au pair for a 6 month old and as an Early Years Practitioner in nurseries, working with children from 3 months to 5 years old. I have also been the sole carer/PA for the last 7 years for a girl with profound cerebral palsy, who needs help with all her personal needs, as well as working with children with autism, epilepsy, down syndrome and associated learning disabilities and needs. I have provided tutoring services for Primary and Secondary aged children.
My Qualifications
I am fully DBS and internationally police checked, with my level 3 in Child Safeguarding.
My Availability
As a teacher, I am only available around school hours - evening babysitting or weekend childcare. For regular roles, I am able to adjust my hours slightly, however adhoc childcare will need to be after 6pm on weekdays. My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
From £8.50 an hour for evening babysitting (after 5pm).
From £10 an hour for day time care - fees to be discussed based on needs.
Overnight stays are charged at a £45 base rate, with an additional £9 for every hour the child is awake.
