About Me
My name is Lorraine and I am an Ofsted registered childminder (Lorraine's little lambs childminding). I live with my husband Chris along with our two daughters Tia-Leoni 15 years, Jessica 7 years and our son Jack 4 years.
I live in a detached house in Barwell which has an enclosed back garden with a summer house and play system for outdoor play. I also have a separate playroom and large open plan kitchen diner for carrying out different activities. I have a wide range of books, toys and activities for children of all ages.
I understand how difficult it is for parents to leave thier child with someone else and therefore aim to provide a "home from home" environment where children are treated as one of the family. At the same time I do provide a stimulating atmosphere where children can develop and meet their full potential. The children and I visit local parks, mums & tots groups, the library, local farms and woodlands along with soft play areas.
I am able to drop off and collect from Barwell Infants School, Barwell CofE Junior school, Little Cedars and The Saplings Playgroups in Barwell where many of the staff know me. My Ofsted inspection was carried out in September 2017 and I was given an OUTSTANDING grading. My Experience
I have a lot of experience with babies and have a range of equipment and resources to stimulate little ones.
My Qualifications
Paediatric first aid
Safeguarding training
4 A Levels
Various childminding workshops and training courses.
I have also completed my Level 3 Diploma in childcare.
My Availability
I am available between 8.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Wednesday and before and after school on a Thursday.
I may be able to work other hours and days but this would be subject to discussion.
My setting is IDEAL FOR TEACHERS OR SCHOOL STAFF as I work term time only and NO RETAINER FEE will be charged during holidays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour

There is NO charge during school holidays for term time only care.
