About Me
I'm Ewa. I am a 33 year old primary teacher with over 10 years of experience in working with children, mainly in Early Years. On the 1st of September 2019 I gave birth to my daughter, Hannah, and decided to leave my teaching job and look for a role that would allow me to take care of my daughter at the same time. Because I had always loved working with children and helping them achieve their potential through engaging them in fun and stimulating activities, I decided to become a nanny.
In June 2020, when my daughter was 9 months, I started working for a family of 4, with a girl aged 3years and boy aged 18 months. I was in this full time role for 2 years.
In September 2022, I joined another family of 4, where I have been looking, full time, after a baby boy aged 6months and after his older brother age 4 (only 2 days a week). I am going to stay with the family until mid Sept 2023.
If you would like someone fun, loving and nurturing to help to look after your precious child/children, please don't hesitate to contact me. Being a mum and a nanny has given me a great understanding and experience of looking after newborns and toddlers.
I place a huge importance on children’s wellbeing, ensuring they feel happy and safe. I am a person who loves encouraging good behaviour in children through lots of praise and positive reinforcement. I love the outdoors and nature. Walks and going out to parks and playgrounds with children are a part of my daily routine. i like to take kids swimming. I regularly organise trips to zoos, farms and other interesting places. I love to take children to parks to feed the ducks and on long walks in Cedars or the Lee Valley Park. On warm, sunny days I go with kids to splash parks and paddling pools. On rainy days, I love to take children out to go jumping in or scooting through puddles, or go to a soft play or a jump city. I enjoy doing arts and crafts with kids, including painting and messy play. I love reading stories to children.
I also have a membership in Paradise Wildlife Park - a very fun and educating place to visit!
I drive and have my own car. I do not smoke or vape. I can cook healthy meals from scratch. I can help with homework. I can assist with improving phonics, reading and mathematical skills.
