My Background
I have experience working with young children through family, childcare roles, and supporting little ones in early years activities. This has helped me develop a strong understanding of child development, routines, and the importance of play-based learning.

-A child-centred approach where every child’s interests are valued
My Approach to Learning
I believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, exploration and fun. I will support children’s learning by:
-Planning activities based on their interests
-Encouraging independence and confidence
-Offering opportunities for creativity, problem-solving, and imaginative play
-Supporting communication, social skills and emotional development
-Working in partnership with parents to ensure continuity of care

-A reliable and professional service
Why I Want to Be a Childminder
Becoming a childminder allows me to combine my love for childcare with creating a warm family environment where children can thrive. Supporting children’s early years is something I find incredibly rewarding, and I’m excited to build strong relationships with both children and parents as I grow my setting.
My Experience
I have extensive experience caring for children from infancy to early adolescence, gained through both professional work and family life. My experience includes:
-Working in two nurseries, supporting babies, toddlers and preschool children
-Working as a childminding assistant, helping to provide a warm, nurturing, home-from-home environment
-Raising my own four children, aged 1 to 15 years, giving me first-hand experience across all stages of childhood
-Supporting daily routines including feeding, weaning, naps, toileting, school runs, after-school routines and settling
-Planning and delivering activities such as sensory play, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, story time and imaginative play
-Supporting development across communication, early maths, problem-solving, social skills and physical development
-Encouraging independence through age-appropriate tasks, self-care, turn-taking and responsibility
My Qualifications
I am committed to providing high-quality early years care, supported by the following qualifications:
-Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
