About Me
My name is Tracey Woodward and I am a registered Childminder with OFSTED, graded OUTSTANDING 2018 and a member of the NCMA. I became a Childminder 18 years ago, Im a fully qualified Nursery Nurse and hold a BTEC National Diploma in Childcare with over 12 years of experience. I also have up to date training in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding Children. I live in Allesley Village with my husband Mick and 3 children Harry 24, Katie 21 and Oliver who has just turned 13, We are within a short walk to the local park, and local groups We meet with other Childminders every morning wether it be at groups or soft play,allowing the children to socialise with children in larger groups. We love to explore and investigate the natural world around us and go on lots of walks in the woods and the park. The children really love putting on their wellies and going in search of puddles! During the school holidays we visit other places of interest such as farms, zoos, castles and soft play areas. I have my own transport, a clean driving licence and business insurance. All of my car seats are purchased new and every child has an age appropriate seat. I strongly believe play is vital to a child's development of skills, independence and confidence and they need space and support to achieve this. We have had a large playroom extension where all the children's art work is displayed, toys and resources are easily accessible, We also have a large kitchen where we do cooking, art and messy play. We have a secure enclosed rear garden with a two story mansion play house with wooden kitchen and dolls cots and upstairs bedroom for pretend play, we have a large lawn and raised flower beds so the children can grow their own vegetables and flowers in. The garden also has lots of other play equipment such as a sand and water tray, small bikes, slide, see-saw, rockers and games.Our daily activities include singing and musical instruments, art and craft, story telling, role play, construction toys and puzzles. The children also have access to a huge range of age appropriate toys.I offer a safe, comfortable, loving and home-like environment where they can learn and play. I provide lots of activities and learning opportunities, to build on your child's self confidence, enabling them to develop to their full potential. My Experience
I have 6 years experience as a Nursery Nurse and I have been childminding for the last 18 years, but I feel the most relevant experience I have is being a Mum myself. As a parent I know how important it is to recognise that every child is unique and has different needs, I ensure I treat each child as an individual, working in partnership with parents to support their child's learning and development accordingly. I feel learning is a continuous journey through which children build on all the things they experience, as well as coming across new and interesting challenges.I follow the EYFS and Every child's learning journey takes a personal path based on their own individual interests and experiences. I strive to personalise the support a child receives to meet their individual needs and extend their talents. Looking after and caring for children is my passion and I feel privileged that I am able to do this as a career. Childminding is not simply a job for me but something which I really enjoy,

My Fees
Fees are negotiable , these fees include snacks fruit and toast and drinks, admission to soft play (jam jams) and payment for groups which i attend 3 times a week and soft play twice a week

Tracey is a great childminder! She has had our daughter for the last year and she is very settled and happy with Tracey. The children experience a range of activities each day and socialise with many other children. Our daughter has developed so much since in her care and I would highly recommend to others! Very professional and a home from home family environment at the same time.
