About Me
Hi, I am Charlotte - an Ofsted registered Childminder and Early Years Educator.
I hold qualifications in childcare, and have worked with children in various settings for 17+ years.
I was graded Outstanding by Ofsted March 2023.
I decided to become a childminder after having my daughter, and would like to invite and welcome your little ones to come learn, play and grow in a caring and supportive home away from home setting ‘Wheatfields Little Wonders’ with me.
Your children will learn here through exploration and play, planned activities, and outings all whilst having fun.
My setting has many toys/resources to encourage and aid in development and learning, with a dedicated playroom that’s constantly evolving to the children's current interests/needs.
I also have a lovely safe and enclosed garden, to promote physical health and well-being.
We regularly enjoy messy play, arts & crafts, baking, outings out and about to explore the world and community around us and bigger trips out to museums/farms etc.
I am very lucky to live next to a nature reserve and woodland area to go explore, splash in muddy puddles and look for wildlife in.
Working alongside parents is really important to me, I understand your child is the most treasured thing in your world. Your child’s happiness, care and development matters and as a team we can ensure the best start to your child’s life.
If your little one leaves my setting at the end of the day happy, smiling and full of stories about the day they have had - then I know I am doing my job right!

I continually develop and update my knowledge of childcare and education (through training and webinars), so that I can offer your little ones the best learning opportunities and outcomes based around their own individual needs.

We were extremely lucky to have found a space at Charlotte's Wheatfields Little Wonders (WLWs) for our little boy. He started with Charlotte at 10 months and stayed until he transitioned to school nursery. He has loved being part of the WLWs family, it has been a home from home for him. From day one, Charlotte went over and above to help our son settle into setting as he was an anxious little chap. Despite being an emotional roller coaster for us all Charlotte reassured us every step of the way with progress texts and pictures sent through the day to know all was well which was so helpful. I have absolute confidence in Charlotte, she is very professional and is a true safe pair of hands! Our son has had the most wonderful experiences with his WLWs family, learning, exploring and most importantly having fun and making happy memories. Charlotte's has helped lay the foundations of our son's life skills and early years education journey which has given him the tools needed to start his adventures into school nursery with confidence.
Charlotte is such a warm and kind hearted person I couldn't have asked for a better 2nd mammy for our boy, we can't thank her enough and will miss her lots!

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to care for M, it has been my privilege to be like his second Mammy!
Our little girl absolutely loves Charlotte and her setting, as do we! From the first visit we were welcomed with open arms and a warm smile and our little one was immediately at ease in Charlottes home. As anxious first time parents we didn’t really know what to expect from a childcare setting but we couldn’t ask for more from Charlotte, our little girl is thriving with the structured curriculum adapted to her age and ability, creative and messy play time with the great friends she’s made while there and regular exciting outings. Daily snacks always go down well too and I know my little one is getting something nutritious! Charlotte gives in depth daily updates (with fab pictures) which puts our mind at ease and is always happy to answer any questions we have. Charlotte is also supportive of anything we’ve been working on at home and helps carry this into her time with our little one. If I was to pick again i’d chose Charlotte every time!

My little boy has been looked after by Charlotte since 2024, when I went back to work, he was 11 months old at the time. I don't think we could have found a better place or person to look after our little boy. He learns through play, music, fun games and outdoor adventures. We are kept updated during the day on how he is doing and what he has been up too. He goes on lots of lovely adventures with Charlotte and the children he sees each week. Her playroom is well resourced and each week/term they learn about a different topic/theme. Charlotte goes above and beyond for our little one and is always happy to support with helping him to develop and thrive with all areas of his development. He is definitely at a home from home setting and he loves to go each week. We are so happy and lucky that we found Charlotte and know that our little boy is looked after and cared by such a lovely person. We would highly recommend Wheatfields Little Wonders!
