About Me
I have been a registered childminder since 2011 but have been working in childcare since 2001. I also have my own daughter.
I work alongside a fully qualified assistant (NVQ level 3) which allows us to be able to offer more flexibility.
I'm a qualified nursery nurse & a qualified play worker.
I also have a 'Hygge in the Early Years accreditation'.
We love for the children to explore the local environment. Our current children love nothing more than putting on their puddle suits and wellies and heading out for the day. We love to do our activities outdoors and can regularly be found in the local area playing games, painting pictures, jumping in muddy puddles, building dens or reading stories (etc, etc).
We try to ensure that we keep our fees as low as possible, we also like to ensure that all of our children have everything that they need while they are with us, without putting any extra pressure on parents. For this reason our fees include all nappies, wipes and food (please find an example menu in our photos). We also provide each child with their own water bottle, bedding, wellies and puddle suit to use whilst at our setting. We do not charge any extra fees for funded places.
We have recently moved to the B90 area after running successfully in the B28 area since 2011, we've been very lucky that all of our families followed us to our new house. We have a dedicated playroom and are hoping to build a dedicated cabin in the back garden over the next few months (as we had at B28). Our new garden is also much bigger allowing us to do much more with the children-we can't wait to set up our allotment around our new (to us!) greenhouse! The children are already putting their orders in!!

My Experience
I have worked in Childcare for more than 20 years starting as an apprentice in a private day nursery, I was then employed as a full time qualified member of staff and progressed to a senior member of staff. I then became a deputy manager at a local before & after school club.
I've been a registered childminder since 2011 and I am also registered with Birmingham City Council to be a children's chaperone. I have volunteered at a number of local children's clubs (dance schools) and ran a local playgroup.

My Availability
I offer contracts for full time hours, part time hours, term time only, school hours, before & after school hours, temporary or part time. I also provide emergency care.
I am registered to provide free childcare spaces.
I am also able to offer tax free childcare.
Hours are negotiable and I try to be as flexible as possible.
Our operating hours are Monday-Friday 7.30am-5.30pm
We are very lucky that most of our children have joined us through personal recommendations by other parents.

My 3 year old son comes to Tara and her team and he loves it! He comes out with a smile from ear to ear. The team are so happy and helpful. I can ask them anything whenever, they always have time for me and my son.
I’m so thankful to have found them. They have made my return to work so much easier. I go to work knowing my son loves where he is and he well cared for 😊
