About Me
Hello, I’m Ruth—a dedicated childcare provider with over 14 years of professional experience. I’m committed to creating a caring, clean, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and grow. My home is equipped with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor toys and resources, and there’s a large, well-maintained park conveniently located right next door.
I hold certifications in food hygiene, pediatric first aid, and safeguarding, and I maintain public liability insurance, among many other qualifications. I’m proud to offer healthy, nutritious meals, snacks, and drinks for the children in my care. I also take them to designated “stay and play” (playgroup) sessions, providing opportunities to socialise and experience new surroundings.
I received a “Good” rating in my latest Ofsted inspection (November 2024) and currently hold a 5-star rating from the Food Standards Agency (FSA). I currently have vacancies for a baby and for children aged 2–3. I will update these vacancies as they change.
I also own a very clean and well behaved grey tabby cat. All his immunisations are up to date and he’s friendly.

My Experience
Over the last 14 years, I’ve developed a warm, nurturing approach that respects each child’s individual needs and interests. I’m trained in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and conduct regular risk assessments to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all children. I only work term time so I do not work during school holidays and bank holidays. I also don’t do school pick ups and drop offs
