Let down last minute!!

absolutely shocked, numb & disgusted. we were going ahead with my son starting with Marie, I took my son out of nursery as it was a definite go ahead.. I have recieved a message today telling me my son cannot start with her now as another parent has extended their days! we were about to do settling in sessions etc & now I'm stuck. I have no childcare! I cannot believe this lady has done this to us! she texts me a week before and now I don't know what to do.. she should be ashamed at what she has done to us!

I would like to apologise again for not being able to complete contracts or take a deposit for your child to attend my setting from June for one morning each week.
It was unforeseeable to me that at the time of your viewing that an existing parent would ask to increase their child's hours due to work commitments.
As you were not due to visit me until the 12th May to secure a place I did not expect you to remove your child from nursery without giving them the four weeks notice that you discussed at your viewing.
I am truly sorry and completely understand your disappointment but I felt my duty of care was to my existing family.
I did discuss with you at your viewing that to secure a place for your child I would need two full weeks fees and that all contracts must be signed by both parent and carers, neither of which have been done by yourself.
In response to your review and the misunderstanding that you had a guaranteed place I will now reconsider how I inform parents that their place is not guaranteed until contracts are signed and deposit are paid.
I apologise again for your disappointment and upset and do wish you well in finding suitable childcare.
