My Experience

I registered and started MISSYMOO MINDERS childminding in 2006 we will be celebrating our 16th birthday on the 21st april 2022

We have slowly grown over the years and decided to make achange and move into a space where the kids could enjoy a larger area .So 8 years ago we decided to build a designated LOG CABIN 30ft by 18ft to play in . this makes us a unique setting for our children which is set out for them it offers everything they could need. We have experience of twins . Young babies children aged birth to 18yrs ,adhd,dispraxia.

With a large garden and decked area and a well established log cabin our play space is not only unique its set up by the children for them incorporating thier ideas .

it has running water ,toilet faclities and small kitchenette.

a comfy sofa to chill out on and every activties that children could want.

we are quite traditional in how we play

eg lego,drawing,modelling,hamma beads ,nautral toys .

We cater for children from 4 months upto 8yrs .
(Other aged childdren are accepted as long as thier behaviour doesnt effect the younger children.
As stated in the e.y.f.s.framework .

at missymoo minders we aims to provide a warm and nurturing environment where children can learn, socialise and have fun. missymoo minders is different to other settings as it works as a small setting of only 7 to 9 children per day session. Here, your child will receive close adult care and attention.

Our vision is to create a “home from home’ experience within a stimulating environment where children can socialise and learn from each other. And follow thier own interest .Children will be able to play in our purpose-built cabin and large garden. It has been suggested by many experts that children who are able to play freely and are able to feel secure enough to immerse in deep concentration has positive impact on later academic success.

We have children on our books at the moment all using a variety of hours from 2 days to full time. full year care or term time only.I have a great selection of toys and activaties from babies to 8yrs from craft to fancy dress i aim to give new experiences we are trying a more child led approach and have recently completed a course on IN THE MOMENT PLANNING by anna ephgrave alowing us to do activties that follow the child's interest some times working on the spur of the moment using the childrens ideas from making a den's to a mud pies . We also offer wrap around care cover for CLAPGATE and SHARP LANE primary school i work with 2 assistant at any one time who are all fully dbs checked and 1st aided 'safeguarding and qualified to level 2 childcare diploma.

My Qualifications

i.c.p. , level 2, level 3 diploma,level 3 safeguarding,peadiatric first aid, birth to 3 matters,every child matters,child protection,behaviour management advanced level . gcse child development. ,understanding and listening to children heristic play.In the moment planning with anna ephgrave

My Availability

mon to fri 0730 till 5 30 are my core hours but will work hours around these i try to be flexible upto 6pm . I will be working with an assistants to give a better ratio missymoo minding is offering a before and after school service for our local school and full day care ,term time , holidays and full year already adding to the kids who already attend ..

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.50 per hour

rate £4.50 this is a full hour charge.

after school fee is a placement fee .

2,3&4year fee funding availble t&cs apply .
