Do not trust

Tania asked to stop collecting our son. She agreed to return the outstanding money but has now failed to pay back. Very unreliable and untrustworthy.

Unreliable and stole money

Tania was looking after my children after school. I didn’t have any issues with the way she looked after my children. However she gave me notice, I had paid 4 weeks in advance as per contract And was expecting her to pick them up after school for the remainder. She let me down in every instance and owes me £150 in childcare that she never provided. Extremely disappointing and very unprofessional. She promised to pay in instalments but they were all lies. I would not trust her.

Outstanding

Tania has been caring for my daughter since I returned to work after an extended maternity leave. Having trained and registered as a childminder myself, I knew what I should be looking for in a minder for my own child. Tania left an impression on my husband and I, that she was the only minder we saw. We decided at her setting that we had found the right person.

Because my daughter had not been cared by anyone else but me, I worried about her integrating with others socially, and how she would get on with her minder/carer when I returned to work. From the moment she joined Tania, things fell into place. My daughter loves the free play, arts and craft activities, and is gaining knowledge of her world, counting, how to be a friend, and so forth.

Tania makes a real effort with the children in her care, and clearly focuses on the key areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage. My daughter spends lots of time learning maths/the alphabet in the sunny spacious garden, and in the gorgeous conservatory/lounge with lots of nice educational toys. Her home is a clean, welcoming and safe place where I know my little girl is well cared for.

My daughter socialises with other children of a similar age, and she's made so many friends since joining Tania's setting. As an only child, she really has blossomed with the peer to peer interaction, and her speech has come along in leaps and bounds.

My daughter loves Tania's so much that she doesn't stop talking about her and her family and pets, even on weekends!

My daughter attends Tania takes the children out to some lovely soft play centres during the week. Christmas and Easter time the children attend a party at the centres. This year the children dressed up and had a great time.
