About Me
hi my name is Amanda Jayne I live in Mexborough with my husband . I am an ofsted registered childminder and a member of pacey.
I can offer funded places for 2 and 3 year olds.
I provide a warm, safe, caring and stimulating home environment for children to play in, have fun in and to grow and develop in.
.I provide lots of activities both indoors and outdoors including baking, painting,arts and crafts,small world play,role play,puzzles,construction, books, ball pool, paddling pool, slide, see-saw, general outdoor play.
I regularly attend play sessions at the local childrens centre , take children on outings including visits to farms and play areas etc and utilise facilities in the local community.
I provide healthy freshly prepared meals and snacks.
I hope to make parents and children feel welcome and comfortable and try to provide as near as possible home from home care. I ensure that all children are treated with equal concern and as individuals in their own right, and that they receive all the care and attention they need.
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2002 and have experience of caring for children of all ages and abilities from babies to older children ages 0-11years.
prior to childminding I worked as a playgroup leader.
My Qualifications
Level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice
Level 3 Early Years Care and Education
First Aid
Child Protection
Food hygiene
Various short courses including:
Introduction to special needs and Inclusion
Communication, language and literacy,
Development through play Ict with children.
I continuously access training to update my own knowledge and development.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday form 7.30am - 5.30pm
I not available on bank holidays
I can provide 15hrs / 30hours / week free funded childcare for 2 and 3 year olds.
I pick up and drop off at Mexborough Montagu primary school.
I may be able to drop off or pick up from other Mexborough schools depending upon times please email me with details.
