We couldn't have asked for a better childminder for our little boy. Ramona has looked after him since he was just 11 months old and from the very beginning she made us all feel comfortable and reassured.

He settled far more quickly than we expected, which is a true reflection of how loving, caring and nurturing Ramona and her team are. Every day he has been so happy to go in, he has eaten brilliantly, loved all the activities, and has grown in confidence so much. It has been wonderful to see how much he has thrived in such a warm, fun and caring environment.

As parents, there is no greater comfort than knowing your child is safe, happy and genuinely loved while you're at work, and that's exactly how we've felt every single day.

We are incredibly grateful for everything Ramona and her team have done for our son. Although we're excited for his next chapter at nursery, we're also so sad to be leaving because you've all become such an important part of his early years. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Ramona to any family looking for exceptional childcare.

Amazing childminder - highly recommend

We can’t recommend Ramona’s highly enough - our daughter attended her setting for a year from age 1 and absolutely loved it and developed so well during her time at Ramona’s. We wanted a setting that had the benefit of being small and nurturing, but still had plenty of children of different ages to play and be friends with, and found that at Ramona’s - we only left because our little one moved to a bilingual nursery.

The setting is organised, clean, and kitted out really well, with lots of engaging and educational toys and books, has a good routine for children, and healthy and varied food. Ramona is always running fun and educational activities and themed days for the children (and sometimes including the parents - like a summer party, a sports day, and a Christmas party), with a good balance of arts and crafts, singing, exercise, music, learning, and playing outside.

Ramona and her staff are caring, welcoming and experienced, and have a lovely and supportive relationship with both children and parents. All in all highly recommend!

Fantastic childminder- safe, skilled and fun!

Our son attended Ramona’s setting from the age of one to two, and he has absolutely thrived. We were badly let down at the last minute by a nursery, and in hindsight we’re so glad it happened because finding Ramona was the best thing for our family.

Her setting is spotlessly clean and very well organised- she truly runs a tight ship. There’s a lovely balance between having a small, nurturing environment while still offering the social benefits of a larger setting. The children take part in a wide range of fun and educational activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor play and learning about different awareness days and themes.

Our little boy absolutely loves going there, and we are genuinely sad to be moving on. The only reason we are leaving is because he is now ready for a preschool setting. If you’re feeling unsure about where to send your child, I couldn’t recommend Ramona highly enough. She goes above and beyond and is truly exceptional.

Thank you for caring for our little one

Our little girl went to Ramona's child care setting aged 11 to 17 months after she was highly recommended by our close friends. The care and attention she and her team gave our daughter was amazing. Our daughter was clearly extremely happy there, we always felt she was looked after. Specifically I was reassured that she ate well, I knew who the care givers were and she clearly had fun learning and playing from the artwork and photos showing us all the fun games she was playing. My husband and I had conflicting work patterns and Ramona was always flexible for our requirements. We are so sad to leave her care and the only reason for this is due to moving jobs and home. We shall be forever indebted to you Ramona for looking after our first baby, thank you.

Ramona and her team are incredible

Our daughter was looked after by Ramona and her incredible team from 11 - 18 months. We moved abroad, otherwise she would still be in her care today. Ramona provides a fantastic environment for the children. Every day they offer new activities and opportunities for them to learn and develop. During warmer weather, they also take the children out to the local park. Ramona's communication with us was also excellent - she was able to offer advice on how best to support our daughters motor development and shows genuine care and interest in ensuring the children reach their potential. Ramona and the team also go above and beyond at several points throughout the year, putting on special events, such as sports day, graduation and a Christmas party. This offers a really nice opportunity for parents and carers to get together and to see the children playing together. We can't thank Ramona and her team enough for the wonderful support and care they provided for our daughter - we miss them all a lot. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as a childminder setting for your child. Thank you!

Ramona is Incredible - Highly recommend!

Our daughter was cared for by Ramona and her assistants from the age of 12 months to 32 months and it became a home from home where she was completely at ease, always laughing and having fun with the other children and staff.

The setting is clean and very well equipped with fun, educational toys and activities. The children regularly play in the garden, visit local parks and playgrounds, go on nature walks and trips to the library. The food served was delicious and very much enjoyed by our daughter who can be a fussy eater. We were supported in dealing with our daughter's eczema and potty training and always felt she was well looked after and learning positive habits.

We were given daily reports of our child's meals, naps, potty use, and activities which included a mix of story time, singing and dancing, educational games, fancy dress, imaginative play, physical activities like yoga and creative activities often marking a holiday or special event. Ramona celebrated birthdays, World book day, Halloween, Black History Month, National days and celebrations from around the world in an appropriate and engaging way.

We noticed immediately after our daughter started at Ramona's setting, how her language and social skills developed. Later as she learned to count and recite the alphabet, sing new songs and expand her skills and vocabulary, it was apparent that Ramona and her staff were supporting and advancing her learning and development alongside us. Ramona provided observations on her learning and a detailed Early Years Development Report for her recent transition to Preschool.

Over our time with Ramona we have attended summer parties, Christmas parties, graduation award ceremonies and sports days for the children where we were able to mix with the staff, other families and children in a social setting. Seeing our children interacting with one another and their carers it was clear how much love was shared between them all. Ramona provided food and entertainment for on each of these occasions and ensured parents felt part of the community of her setting and were aware of any new developments and improvements they were making.

We are so thankful to Ramona and her staff. We can see the positive impact they have had on our daughter and even her new nursery staff have remarked on the great job Ramona has done in preparing our daughter for her next phase.

Don't hesitate, she knows how to do her job

Leaving my first child to someone else's care was very difficult but after having visited several settings, I was welcomed with such warmth by Ramona and her staff that I knew she would be great and great she was!

My daughter spent 10 wonderful months at Monacare. She started as a French speaking toddler to end up as a bubbly little girl with a fantastic British accent and reinforced good manners.

Our daughter was following a peticular diet and Ramona did her best to follow it meticulously. We left England 8 months ago and she is still talking about Ramona, her staff members and the other children.

The setting was spotless and all the children looked very happy and enthusiastic to start the day with her and her staff members.
We appreciated how Ramona took our feedback and concerns on board.

She gave us updates on a regular basis and our daughter was very proud to show us all the artistic creations done each week.

She encouraged our daughter to develop her creativity and curiosity praising her with stickers and certificates when milestones were met.

Birthdays' celebrations looked very fun and the awards celebration was very enjoyable.
Ramona knows how to do her job and she does it well.

Absolutely brilliant Childminder

There’s nowhere we’d have rather sent our son for his first year of childcare. Ramona's setting is filled with lots of love, brilliantly fun and educational activities, and delicious, nutritious home-cooked meals. Ramona’s home is everything you’d want for your child.

We’ve seen our son make huge strides in his development under her expert care. He proudly shared his artistic creations with us every week, and it was clear how much fun he was having every day.

Ramona’s communication with us has always been outstanding. And we’ve treasured the weekly report Ramona provided - it made us feel so much a part of his daily activities.

Ramona goes out of her way to make each and ever child feel special. And the birthday celebrations and graduation ceremonies are stand-out events! We still have our son’s award cards pinned up around the house - reminding us where Ramona had identified and encouraged his particular interests and talents.

Ramona’s assistants are equally wonderful! Her setting really has that ‘family feel’ that every parent would want for their child.

We’re expecting our second child next year and are very much looking forward to enrolling him / her at MonaCare when the time comes :)

Excellent Childminder

We found Ramona at the start of the pandemic when unfortunately restrictions meant that our family couldn't help with childcare as planned. Until then, our son had been looked after full time by me & I was anxious about how he would adapt. Ramona gave him a second place to call home. She handled him with so much affection, care & patience which is just what he needed.

The setting is always spotless somehow! And all the food is home prepared, varied & healthy. Her team is very carefully selected & embody the settings values as well.

Ramona always invites our feedback & takes on board our questions/concerns. Likewise, she is always happy to take the time to give progress reports & updates.

Ramona creates a very fun, energetic, nurturing & loving environment in her setting. It has helped our boy to grow in curiousity & confidence. We have been so happy with the care she has provided & are sad to be moving on.

We wish Ramona & her team all the very best. We are sure she will be as invaluable & indispensable to many families in the future as she has been to us! Thank you.

Couldn't recommend enough

Our first child went to Ramona for almost two years. We were looking for a nursery but ended choosing her as we thought a smaller setting would be best for our child for the early years.
I can't describe how careful, loving and caring she has been to our son. She was always happy to try new approaches and I can say she always went to the extra mile to adapt to his needs.
We found it really easy to communicate with her and we received constants feedback.
She was always thinking on how she could improve her setting and on new activities.
It's been two years since we moved on and we still keep in touch and our son remembers her vividly. She definitely made a mark on his early development and childhood. if you are looking for a childminder in Nunhead, Peckham or east Dulwich area you should come and see her!
