About Me

I have been a registered Childminder for 20 years and live with my husband and 2 teenage sons. Our house is in an ideal location in Sherborne which means that I am able to walk to many local attractions and facilities. I enjoy being out in the environment and ensure the children have lots of opportunities to go to many local parks, woodland and meadow walks, visits to both of Sherbornes castles, trips to the farm and beach.
I am creative and enjoy craft projects and baking with the children.
We join in with the local community, regularly attending toddler groups, Childrens Centre, story time at the library.

My Experience

I am a trained Nursery Nurse ( which involved a 2 year full time course covering the development of the child from birth to 7 years - with work placements in nurserys, family centres, schools and hospitals). I have worked as a private Nanny and Room Supervisor in a nursery.
I am the group rep for Sherborne Childminders and arrange lots of trips and activities so the children are able to part of a group - we are able to meet and use the facilities of the Childrens Centre once a week.

I have been graded ' Outstanding' by Ofsted in October 2014

I have excellent references from many families which I have worked for.
