About Me
Based in Heybridge Basin, within 1 mile from Maldon, Little Legs Childcare are an Ofsted registered graded Outstanding childminding service, offering individual and professional early years care. We are very lucky that our location allows us to have walks along the sea wall, regular trips to places such as Colchester Zoo, White Elm Farm, The Gruffalo Park etc. We have looked after children from 4 months and seen them through to starting primary school.
We follow Early Years Foundation Stage, to prepare pre-schoolers with all the necessary skills to continue in their education.
We accept vouchers through work and the government funding when the child becomes eligible. We are available from 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and through all the school holidays.
Meals are not provided so a packed lunch will need to be sent with your child.
My Experience
I worked in the City before joining the Metropolitan Police where I was a detective for over 12 years. I then decided to change career to fit in with my family commitments so started Childminding over 9 years ago.
My Qualifications
I worked as a Detective in the Police for over 12 years and covered a wide variety of areas including Serious Sexual assault and Child Protection.
