Lucy, Lisa & Kerry are outstanding childminders, our daughter is 12 months old and has been with them for 3 months now, our daughter comes home happy every day and loves spending time with the girls and their family.
Lucy is very accommodating to our needs, working extra hours and overnight when needed.
My husband and I love the fact that they are affectionate (with our approval), by affectionate I mean, cuddles whilst the other children are playing, a kiss on the head goodbye, if she was to hurt her hand - kiss it better.
Our girl has come on a lot since attending the setting. We didn't know what to expect prior to our visit but Lucy assured us that they follow OFSTED learning and produce progress reports.
The girls have always kept us up to date with everything and ensured that we are happy with any changes which we really appreciate. We can't imagine anyone else looking after our little girl as she adores everyone at Lucys.

I was searching for a childminder that could work around my shifts. Some late some early some even spur of the moment changes. I needed to find a childminder that could drive as i live in theh sticks and above all someone i could entrust with my daughter meghan. When i came across lucy i had no idea what to expect but all i can say its its nothing sheer of amazing. Lucy is so accomodating and flexible. Dropping meghan off there really is like dropping her off at a home from home. The atmosphere at the house is like one big family and all the children and adults interact just like that. Thats somethjng i find really comforting, knowing yhat meghan is around people that will look after them and cherish them. Lucy and her helpers are friendly and enthusastic people and i know meghan has a brilliant time there wether that be playing outside or staying in and putting the craft cupboard to good use. Lucy is always on hand to put my nerves at rest or even answer the questions that all learning mums come across I honestly couldnt be happier with their work and i cant imagine ever putting meghan anywhere else.

Lucy and the team were a god send. I found them on this site, after struggling to find a nursery that could accomodate my shift patterns (there aren't any). My son has come on leaps and bounds since going to Lucy's and as a family we are much happier as a result. The team are friendly, open and Honest which is a must for us abd flexible to boot. I cannot thank them enough and would recommend them for anyone needing short or long term childcare.

well as cheesy as it may sound mary poppins has nothing on lucy. My son is 13 he has been with lucy for a year and a half, i had a bad experience with a childminder when he was two so i always opted for after school clubs but when my son started secondary school there was no other option for the time of evening i finished work so i took a huge breath and tried lucy. This decision has proven to be one of the best choices i have made for my son he loves it there most children my sons age would winge going to a childminder my son loves it he even prefers her cooking to mine ha haa she helps him with homework and is always there to listen and guide him hes doing great at school which lucy has a great impact with i have never had to feel uneasy about my son whilst he is in her care as i know beyond all reasonable doubt that lucy cares for my sons health and safety as much as i. My son will very soon becoming of an age where he is too old for childminding and in many ways i dread that day and hope lucy will always be some part of our lives and i know my son feels the same as she is a huge part of the up bringing of him also her rates are very affordable even though you truely can not put a price on the service that is offered

I found out about Lucy by chance really & I'm so pleased I did. Having a chat with a group of mums I'd made friends with just after my son was born. We were talking about how we were all about to return to work & what childcare we were going to use. One of the girls son was going to Lucy & she went on to tell me about the setting etc she really was excited about her son going there. I already had plans in place to send my son to a local nursery but after a chat with my husband we decided we needed to go & see Lucy. After our first look around we knew that was where we wanted to send our son. Lucy was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had & the setting itself was beautiful with lots to offer. Sol has been with Lucy for 5 months now & he absolutely loves it-especially playing outside! Lucy, Lisa & Kerry are all very friendly & do a fantastic job, I'm so pleased that I have found such a lovely,warm & caring place for my son to be when he isn't with me.

Lucy and her team are fabulous. We always receive a warm welcome and it feels like a second home for all of us. They all work so hard! My two children are very happy in the setting and come home beaming with joy from the brilliant time they have had. Lucy meets all our childcare needs, she is increadible flexible and communicates with us through our preferred method. She is punctual, polite and well suppportes by her team and her lovely family. Our children have their meals at Lucys and I feel they get variety, choice and balance. Isabella often comes home in a lookong yucky custard (as we call it) as she has so many opportunities to explore indoors and outdoors, paint,draw and play in thr sand! A mucky child is a happy child in our opinon! Lucy drops off and collects our son from school and he is happy with this arrangement, he loves playing with his friends at Lucys house and dotes on Lisa and Kerry, they are such a breath of fresh air! I couldnt possibly ask for a better setting for my little ones x x x x

Lucy has been a great help to us and has been brilliant when it comes to flexibility. We have a fluctuating timetable and Lucy has always been able to accommodate our needs!
Our daughter loves going to Lucy before and after school and it makes the whole thing so much easier when we know that we do not have to worry!

Lucy looked after our 8 year old daughter for several months when we needed childminding in the evenings and after school. Hannah was the oldest child that Lucy had looked after at that time and it made a refreshing change for her. Our daughter loved going to Lucy's and playing with Sam and Jack (as an only child, she felt like their big sister!). Lucy was extremely flexible and always happy to accommodate our needs. She would happily drive to pick our daughter up from school and look after her until we got home and would often come round to our house to babysit. Our daughter loved that Lucy would chat with her about 'girly stuff' and she still talks fondly of her and Sam and Jack now. Lucy is a warm, friendly person that engages well with children of all ages but is still a homely, grounded Mum. We do miss her! I would highly recommend Lucy.
