About Me
My name is Zoe Souch. I am an Ofsted registered childminder graded "GOOD" with outstanding elements July 2014, February 2017 & most recently, January 2023. I live in Henbury with my husband Terry we have two adult children and two beautiful Granddaughters.
We live in a 3 bed property within a quiet location and walking distance from Blaise Castle Estate with, close links to the M5 cribbs causeway.
I offer an affordable, caring , stimulating, home from home environment
Where your child can explore a wide range of resources and planned activities whilst having fun learning through interaction and play.
I enjoy working from a dedicated playroom that leads onto a fully enclosed child friendly garden.
At Cheeky Cherubs, we have a large variety of educational and fun toys on offer, we also enjoy "messy time " where we explore various cooking, gardening, sensory, and craft activities.
During our day, we attend various outings to playgroup,
Softplay, parks, Forest school, Bristol Harbour, Train rides, Wildplace, Bristol Aquarium, and much much more.
I plan on a weekly on a basis for the children's interests. Taking into account the age ranged and ability of all the children in my care. I work closely with the EYFS -Early years foundation stage to cover all areas of learning and development.
I also offer Daily Diary's where your precious little ones moments are recorded so you can see where we have been, activities enjoyed food eaten/ naps and Nappies changed.
My Experience
I am a qualified nursery nurse with over 30 years of experience working in the childcare sector.
I have experience working in a Private Day Nursery - working as head of a room with children aged 3-4yrs, I also worked as a dinner lady whilst my own children were young.
then just moved onto working at an "outstanding school" as an LSA (learning support assistant) caring for small groups of children that needed extra support.
I have now been an Ofsted registered childmider for the past 15.5 years. I'm really enjoying this role working closely with children, helping them to learn, crawl, walk, talk, and play.
I also have experience working with children with SEN and offer care as an accredited childminder through Bristol city council.
I offer funding from 9 months to -4 yrs
