About Me
Hello! I’m an experienced and qualified childminder based in Cranbrook, with over 25 years of experience working in childcare. I have cared for children from birth through to 11 years old, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
I’m supported by a childminder assistant, who works Monday to Thursday from 9am–4pm. Having an assistant allows us to provide more individual attention, support children’s development, and enjoy a wider range of activities together.
I’ve lived in Cranbrook for the past 12 years and feel very lucky to be part of such a lovely community. I’m also a proud mum to a 12-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son, who inspire me every day with their curiosity, creativity, and sense of fun.

I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and positive relationships. Each day is filled with engaging activities that support children’s development, encourage curiosity, and help build their confidence and independence.

We enjoy a wide range of fun and enriching activities, including:

Painting, sticking, creative crafts, and imaginative activities that encourage creativity.

Exploring different textures, materials, sounds, and experiences to support early development.

Garden play, nature walks, and trips to local parks to encourage exploration and physical activity.
? Outings and Community Visits
Regular trips to play cafés, toddler groups, soft play centres, libraries, and stay-and-play sessions.

Meeting with other local childminders and children to build friendships, social skills, and confidence.

Every day is filled with laughter, discovery, and learning through play. My aim is to provide a nurturing, fun, and enriching environment where every child feels happy, valued, and encouraged to be themselves.
My Experience
I have over 25 years of experience working in childcare and hold Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Childcare and Early Years.
Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of childcare settings, including children’s centres, private day nurseries, nursery schools, community centres, and after-school clubs, where I was also a manager.
I also worked abroad as a Children’s Representative in Turkey for First Choice Holidays, organising activities and ensuring children and families had a fun and safe holiday experience.
These roles have given me a wide range of experience working with children of different ages and backgrounds.
I am now a registered and qualified childminder, providing a safe, caring, and nurturing home-from-home environment where children can learn, play, and develop with confidence.

My Availability
Availability & Fees
Spaces available from April 2026 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
From January 2026, I will be welcoming a new assistant to my setting, which will allow me to offer additional childcare spaces.
From September 2026, I will also have full-time and part-time spaces available.
Hourly Rate: £6.50 per hour
Minimum booking: 5 hours per day
I accept government funding and Tax-Free Childcare.
