About Me

I am a healthy and active woman with 6 years of experience as a childcare worker. As a mother of an 8-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy, I genuinely enjoy looking after and spending time with children, understanding both their needs and the importance of creating a nurturing environment.

I pride myself on being honest, reliable, and punctual, with excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask. Whether it’s managing daily routines or keeping children engaged in educational activities, I ensure every task is handled efficiently and with care.

I have completed my CACHE Level 4 Early Years Settings (QCF) certification, as well as a Level 3 Nursery Nursing qualification, and I am trained in Safeguarding Children Level 2, which I update annually to stay informed on the latest practices and protocols.

Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of school settings in London and Ipswich, specifically within KS1 and Early Years. My role has included creating and delivering learning activities, supporting children with emotional development, and assisting with behavioral management. I’ve developed the ability to foster a positive, safe, and stimulating environment for children of varying ages and backgrounds.

I am motivated, dedicated, and loyal with a calm personality that helps me manage stressful situations and work well under pressure. I have a natural ability to build trust and strong relationships with both children and parents, ensuring a collaborative approach to the child's development. I’m always striving to do my best and go above and beyond to meet the needs of the children in my care.

In addition, I am well-mannered, responsible, and fluent in both English and Swahili, which allows me to connect with diverse families and communicate effectively in various settings. My ability to adapt and provide personalised care is one of my strengths, and I am always ready to tailor my approach to suit each child’s individual needs.

I am also experienced in supporting special educational needs (SEN) children, providing additional care, attention, and support where necessary. My focus is always on helping children feel valued, confident, and capable, fostering a positive attitude toward learning and growth.

Elina looked after our one-year?old daughter Frances in November 2014 to cover for our regular nanny who was off sick. She did a fantastic job looking after our daughter and we could not have been happier with her work.

She is a very friendly, punctual, caring person who has an instinctive understanding of children.

Elina prepared nutritious, healthy meals for Frances and kept her occupied with a variety of stimulating outings and activities.

We were always 100% sure that our child was in safe hands when we left her with Elina,. Frances was always sorry to see Elina leave at the end of the day and delighted to see her again the next morning.

We have no hesitation in recommending her as an employee.

Elina has been looking after our daughter Alma (b. Sept 2012) on an ad-hoc basis for the last 2 years.

Our daughter has a very shy personality but Elina has gained her complete trust and shows no reservations whenever they meet, as she would towards most other adults.
Elina is always very active and takes Alma to either our local play groups or to the play ground or park and she is stimulated throughout the day. Every time they have been together we notice that she has picked up a new skill, word or song.

Elina will either prepare a varied and healthy lunch time to eat at home, or will pack a lunch box for them to enjoy on their trips.

Elina is a very kind and loving person but is also able to set healthy boundaries when required and will enforce any guidelines we have set for Alma.

As an added bonus, Elina would bring her own daughter (b. Oct. 2013), who is a sweet and happy girl and the two girls take great pleasure in each others company.

Alma is genuinly excited when we talk about Elina and Mali and is always looking forward to seeing them so we have no hesitation in giving her our warmest recommendations.
