Hello!
I'm a 39 year old female practitioner living in Hove, with over 20 years of childcare experience.
I am Level 4 Qualified within Early Years Development, am currently training to be a therapist and my placement is working with 13 to 18 year old clients.
I'll be qualified July 2026. Because of my training, I am only available Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

I absolutely love working with children, witnessing their development and being able to be a part of their magical lives, learning about the world alongside them. Seeing it through their eyes and assisting them reach their full potential as strong, kind and resilient little beings with the best sense of humour!
I believe in a holistic, child led approach, and I love that children in my care have seen me as a buddy rather than teacher or employee. That said, I respect the boundaries of a professional working relationship and have really enjoyed the nanny role outside of a standard classroom.
I am open to adding light housekeeping duties to my responsibilities, please feel free to discuss your needs.
I will go above and beyond to make your child laugh, feel safe and explore the world around them.
I have significant SEN experience across nurseries, schools and babysitting. I'm confident working with any age, from babies to teenagers.
I am an avid reader, I love photography, animals, crafting if I find the time and I'm partial to a good series or movie.

My Experience
Paediatric First Aid, and annual DBS check. Nanny experience, reference can be provided.
Prior to nannying, I have over 20 years Child Care Experience, gained across a Nursery and 2 Primary Schools in Cambridge. The majority of my experience has been with Special Education Needs, which I found extremely rewarding.
I am Level 4 Qualified, gained through Open University, DBS checked and First Aid trained.
I have gained three Level 2 Certificates - Behaviour that Challenges in Children and Understanding Common Childhood Illnesses and Understanding mental health in Children and Young People.
In the last year I have obtained a Level 2 and then Level 3 in Counselling skills and theory, and I am in my final year of Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I have also completed a Level 3 "Understanding Autism" (July 2024).
I have worked in a Secondary School providing Admin and Student Support / Pastoral Care for Students aged 11-16, but I love the Early Years!

My Availability
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
I have a client placement as part of my course, so I'm looking to supplement my week with a few hours, I'm happy for this to be either a regular day / days or build a relationship as an ''as and when" nanny.
I am available for ad hoc babysitting too, I might not be the best fit for you if you're looking for full time, but I'd love to help on evenings and weekends if you're stuck! I am comfortable with multiple children from varied families too, which might be perfect for group parties or gatherings.
Unfortunately I do not drive, but this does not affect local families / locations on public transport.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
Negotiable depending on hours / amount of children.
