I am an Ofsted-registered, DBS-checked childminder with over 15 years of experience, based in Heston (UB2) on the Hounslow/Ealing border, close to Southall. I provide a warm, safe and homely environment where children can thrive, learn and feel happy every day.
With experience in newborn care, toddlers, and school-age children, I offer both full-time and part-time care, as well as after-school care to support busy families. I also have special needs experience, ensuring every child receives the care and attention they deserve.
I follow the EYFS framework and make regular observations to track each child’s progress. This helps me support children to develop socially, emotionally, and academically while still enjoying plenty of fun through play.
Daily Routine
A typical day in my setting includes:
7:30–8 am – Breakfast (cereals and toast provided, or parents may send their own)
8am -9am - School drop offs
9:30–10:30am – Free Play indoors and outdoors (blocks, cars, slides, swings, dolls, train sets, books, dressing up, dinosaurs, and more!)
10:30–11:00am – Snack Time (fruit and healthy snacks provided)
11:00–12:00pm – Creative Play (painting, playdough, water play, sand pit, sticking and cutting)
12:00–1:00pm – Lunch (parents provide food)
1:00–3:00pm – Outings (soft play, library visits, playgrounds, woodland walks, One O’Clock Club)
3:00–6:00pm – Afternoon Fun (park trips, garden play, activities and snack provided; optional dinner if supplied by parents)

For care outside my standard hours, early or late sessions are charged at £10.00 per hour.

My Qualifications
I am DBS checked, Paediatric First Aid trained, and have completed courses in Child Protection and Managing Behaviour. I regularly update my training and have attended various Early Years and childcare development courses to ensure I provide the best possible care and support for every child.
My Availability
I offer full-time and part-time childcare, as well as before and after-school care. I currently provide school pick-ups from St Mary’s Church of England Primary School.

Both of my children were cared for by Tara, my son from the age of three, and later my daughter from just ten months old. Tara creates a nurturing, cosy, and safe environment where both my children felt happy and secure. She offers wonderful opportunities for them to explore, play, learn, and grow. My children always enjoyed their days with her and especially loved the amazing outings to farms, adventure playgrounds, museums, and local parks. Tara truly goes above and beyond!

5 🌟 childminder.I met Tara when I was going through a very difficult time in my life and couldn't find the right childcare for my children. Tara made sure my children was going to be well looked after and had everything they needed . The setting environment is cosy,well cleaned and tidy for the children to be alocated.Tara offers flexibility in pick and drop also the days and times. Tara does and takes the children to different activities as she has connections with other services giving a positive feedback also prepares children before entering full time school .My children are in school full time but they still attend Tara service as they want to go there and never had bad moments.Outstanding childminder.👌👌👌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We are so grateful and fortunate that we found Tara during our search. Tara looked after our elder son with genuine care, patience, and with high attentiveness. My son always felt comfortable and supported.
After a few years, now Tara is also caring for our younger son, and we are seeing the same level of dedication and thoughtful care. Tara always shares photos of my little ones' activities, which brings additional peace especially during work.
We are truly grateful for the role Tara plays in our children’s lives and would highly recommend her care to any family seeking a reliable and compassionate childminder.

My child has been going to Tara since she was 18 months old and even though she is now 6, at school, she still wants to go to Tara's during the school holidays. Zaynah asks "when will I be going to Tara's". Zaynah loves Tara and her company. Tara is kind, caring, flexible, professional and provides a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. Both myself and Zaynah would highly recommend Tara.

My little one has been with Tara since he was 10 months old. He is now 2 and a half. She has been so caring and loving to him and she’s bought him out of his shell by encouraging and motivating him. I couldn’t ask for a better carer for my little one. Tara is very kind, flexible and understanding and all the kids she looks after are delightful. We will definitely miss you 💜
