OUTSTANDING CHILDMINDER........
Hi my name is Emma, I live in the Oakdale area of Poole ....
I'm the group leader to a small group of Childminders located in Oakdale ... we meet regularly for outings to local beaches & woodlands we also meet at a local family hub twice a month for a stay and play session.
As a group we offer holiday and sickness cover for each other.
I'm an outdoor person and make the most of all the beautiful places to visit in our local and surrounding areas....
I venture out in the school holidays to the New Forest, Lulworth cove , Swanage and many more exciting places for picnics and adventures.
I work in a play cabin at the bottom of my 80ft garden - it’s a beautiful play space dedicated solely for the children in my care.

I'm able to offer government funding for 2,3 & 4 year old's (the same as a nursery) my last 3 Ofsted inspection I was graded as Outstanding..I feel I offer a well balanced fun environment for young children to thrive at their own pace.
If you are looking for a fun play based day in a home form home environment for you child then that's what I offer.
My Experience
I have worked with young children since 1987...upon leaving school I trained as a nursery nurse (NNEB) and worked as a classroom assistant for 12 years and a nanny for 2 years,,,, I'm a mother of 2 children who are now both adults & have left home.
I have been childminding in Poole since 2001 and am the group leader to a group of childminders in the Oakdale area of Poole.
I have worked with many children and their families over the years some with special needs.... I also welcome multi agency working and have had people come into my home to observe and help children I care for.

Emma is certainly an Outstanding Childminder in every way. My son has been going to Emma's since he was 9 months old (now 2yrs 5months) and it is most definitely a home from home for him. He always has an excited smile on his face when we arrive and constantly talks about Emma and her family. He has named his toy dog 'My Charlie' after Emma's dog. I love the fact that she takes the children out every day, whether it's to the park, the woods, the beach, a play centre, the library or another childminders to play with other children. She's even taken them on the Swanage train, to little farms and monkey world. He has had so many great experiences and is learning and developing wonderfully. Where I've been concerned about his development in the past, Emma has given me different games and fun techniques to help encourage those area's. Emma has a great relationship with my son and is very caring as well as making everyday fun. I don't know where she gets the energy. She's incredibly supportive and I'm truly grateful that I found her. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
