About Me
I am an OFSTED registered accredited childminder. I live in Rayleigh in a 3 bedroom house with a large garden with my husband and 2 children who are out at work all day.
My had an ofsted inspection December 2019 and received a good grade with areas of outstanding. the inspector said I PROVIDE CHILDCARE OF AN EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH STANDARD AND CHILDREN WHERE WELL CARED FOR AND HAPPY.
i have been childminding since 2002 and find it very rewarding.
I am first aid trained and have a NVQ level 4 in Childrens Learning care and development amongst other qualifications listed below.
I can accept Goverment funding for 2,3 & 4 yr olds, giving you up to 30 hrs per week of 'free' childcare. I also accept various workplace vouchers.
My Experience
i have looked after children of all ages from babies to children beginning secondary school. i have a lot of experience to offer as I have been childminding for 18 yrs.
I offer home from home care and lots of fun, outings and activites. I am a short walk from the park, where we stop to play most nights after school.
I trained as a chef and offer nutritious homecooked meals.
I keep development records of the children and help your child reach their full potential in a fun learning environment. During school holidays we have lots of outings where we met with other childminders.
I can drop/collect from local pre-schools and Rayleigh Primary.

Karen is an amazing childminder and has cared for our daughter for the last 6 months. Our daughter has felt settled there since day 1 and all of her family love playing and seeing our daughter when they're there at the same time. Karen's home is safe, warm, loveable and friendly and im so glad my daughter has had the chance to be brought up in a great environment. She provides home cooked meals, takes the children out regularly and always loves a cuddle. She has such a big heart and cares for all of her children dearly.
