Terrible work ethic

Reviewed

Unless your child is independent (they don't want children who will give them something to do), can communicate (so you will know if she/he is being looked after properly), and is vegetarian (they don't want to spend money on meat!), I would not recommend this place to anyone!
Don't be fooled by their fake smiles and good facilities, TINY STEPS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE, with worst work ethic and very lazy staff.
When my child returned to this evil place, after spending 4 months at home (due to lockdown), they refused him after a couple of settling sessions because, apparently, he used to cry the whole time. He was doing 1hr sessions only, and when we asked to gradually increase the time he spent there the manager, ANNE HALL, said no because they would not cope having him for more than 1hr.
Their approach to children who do not settle down easily is jusy non-existent, and they should be ashamed of themselves, there is not a single person, whom I've told about what they did to my child, who have experienced/heard of something similar. Nor even other childminders, who have been in this field for years and years.
My child is now attending a new nursery and I have not, yet, told them that he had previously been cared for other PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE TO BE CHILDMINDERS because I wanted to see the differences.
And guess what ? He was settled after 1 WEEK!!!! I am not going to lie, he cried, and still cries, every time we drop him off, but stops as soon as we leave and WHEN WE COLLECT HIM HE ALWAYS LOOKS HAPPY. It is obvious that he enjoys the time he spends at his new nursery, and that these real childminders eminently know the principles of their job, and go above and beyond!
Whilst at TINY STEPS, my child CRIED EVERY SINGLE DAY, and ALWAYS LOOKED SAD AND SO DOWN when we collected him, specially prior to lockdown, when he was spending full days with these amateurs.
Before he even started his settling in sessions at his new place we answered a massive questionnaire about our child.
They really wanted to get to know him and find out about his likes and dislikes, that that is something that TINY STEPS NEVER, NEVER, EVER DID!
Up to this day, I still question myself what they actually did when they said that they tried everything to help him when he was distressed.
How could they do a thing, when they knew absolutely NOTHING about him ?
Plus, they can't even be bothered about employing some administrative staff: there is no communication by email and they do not produce invoices (HOW COME?).
So, if you love your child, THINK TWICE before taking her/him to this horrible place to be cared for by these evil people.
And, honestly, I am so happy that things turned out to be this way cause my child is now in an amazing place that he truly enjoys and have a lot of fun.
