I am an OFSTED registered PACEY qualified Child-minder with an Advanced GNVQ qualification in Health and Social Care based in Chandlers Ford in Hampshire.
I know that choosing any type of childcare is a very important milestone in your child's (and your) life. To ensure a positive start, you and your child will need the support and encouragement that as a qualified child-minder I believe I can provide.
This could be the first time your child has been with other children, adults, or the first time they have been apart from you on a regular basis. Some children adapt to this very quickly, others take a little longer. Either situation is perfectly normal. I realise that you are entrusting me with the care of your child, and I place the children’s safety, welfare and development at the top of my priorities. I can offer a secure, happy and stimulating environment where independence, self-confidence, consideration for others and good manners are encouraged.
I aim to:
Provide a happy, stimulating environment.
Encourage all- round development through the provision of appropriate learning opportunities
Ensure the safety of the children in my care
Ensure each family and child has a personalised “person centred” approach as I recognise each individual is different and to encourage participation from all children.
Achieve the desirable outcomes of EYFS (Early years Foundation Stage) curriculum applicable
Identify and assess special educational needs, and to make appropriate provision
Work with parents. I am aware that partnership with parents is key. You are your child’s primary educator and main carer and as such you know the most about your child. A good relationship will value and respect what goes on at home and actively support you in developing a rich home learning experience for your children that supports and extends their learning.
My Experience
Over 10 years experience in Health and Social Care settings.
I started my career in Health and Social Care working with an agency providing respite care for Children ages 0-16 years with physical disabilities and then moved on to residential settings with young adults who had Autism and challenging behaviour. I then spent many years working for a charity that supports carers from all backgrounds, who were caring for person or persons who have a physical and/or mental disability as well as time spent working within a mental health service. In addition, I worked as an operations manager and managed a large team across the County carrying out supervisions and liaising with many agencies. I carried out a variety of roles including ; involvement in safeguarding, wellbeing boards and health and safety. As such, it is easy for me to appreciate the stresses of everyday life, work and coping with family commitments. I love working with children and enjoy being able to contribute to their learning experiences of the world.

PACEY and Ofsted registered
Full paediatric first aid
Food Hygiene level 2
Over 10 years experience in Health and Social Care settings.
I hold up to date Safeguarding Children, Pediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates as required as well as the following : WRAP Training (Wellness Recovery Action Planning) Safeguarding Adults Levels 1 and 2, Safeguarding Children level 3 , British Values and diversity, Effective learning in early years, Benefits Training, Deprivation Of Liberty, Holistic Care First Aid, Risk Assessment training, Basic Counselling Course (1 day course certificated), Internal NHS training untaken: Data Protection Act, Health and Safety, Moving & Handling, Epilepsy, Equal opportunities, Fire Safety, Liability negotiations, Freud awareness, Disabilities and discrimination Act, Information security, Money laundering. Information Governance and Allergies Training,

Our daughter has been looked after by Becci since the age of 12 months and she settled in straight away. Becci provides a safe, nurturing and fun environment in her lovely welcoming home. Our daughter instantly grew such a lovely bond with Becci and her family and she was always excited and happy to go. She always goes the extra mile when it came to organising trips and activities, theme days and especially birthdays! Becci really listens to you as parents, communication never an issue. She even managed to provide a variety of yummy meals for our daughter whilst meeting our vegetarian preferences. We must mention that Becci bakes the most delicious birthday cakes and she even booked out a hall for our daughters 3rd birthday party that she organised for her! We will miss you Becci! Thank you for everything x

Becci is amazing, both my children loved going and would run in each morning. The house and garden are brilliant, she has a wonderful set up with separate playroom leading on to the garden and even a separate children's toilet with funky pull out steps to the sink which my children loved.
The food is great and she does little parties on their birthdays and even bakes them a cake.
They go out every day and enjoy trips to the Zoo , Farms , soft plays and play groups plus much much more she even took my two to a theme park. Could not ask for more really going to miss seeing her daily now my last ones off to school but will definitely be back in the holidays.

Becci looks after both our little girls and I cannot rate her high enough. She is fun, caring, compassionate and provides a very wide range of learning opportunities for them every session.
She takes them on outings all over the local area, such as the zoo, farms, museums, lots of different play areas and exploring in the woods. Whenever we drop the girls off we know they are going to have a fantastic day and look forward to seeing all the photos of their adventures, which Becci uploads onto Tapestry regularly.
Becci has exceeded all our expectations of a childminder and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.

Your search is over. Becci is incredible, in our house she is quite often referred to as Mary Poppins! Our children adore her and her family, they come home telling of all the adventures they have had that day. No two days are the same and Becci consistently goes above and beyond for the children in her care. We have loved watching both our boys grow and develop in leaps and bounds with her. You can truly relax knowing your child will will be in great hands. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Becci has looked after my little girl from the age of 6 months and she absolutely loves every minute there. I get to see all the adventures they are up too by the daily diary that is uploaded each day with pictures which really helped me settling when I went back to work to see my little girl happy and enjoying herself. She fits in way more to a day than I can even imagine lots of trips to the Zoo, Farm, park's, science center and groups she adores the music and sensory.
It also gives me a sense of relief that I don't have to worry about providing food and drinks as have included in my package and Becci's homecooked healthy food is great such variations and even does parties for the children's? birthdays and special occasions if only I could get her to do mine and my hubby's meals too ?
