About Me
I primarily work as a coach & mentor for parents of 2 - 8 year olds. My focus is on breaking generational cycles and building family emotional intelligence. When I'm not working, you will probably find me reading, earthing or exploring nature. I also love to organize homes, host community events, bake, write, make things, play board games and attend the theatre.
I work with a gentle parenting stance, which means treating children with equal respect and compassion. I encourage autonomy and taking appropriate risks: I believe children deserve the right to freedom & choice and our job as adults, is to honour their individual needs and desires with understanding and acceptance. It is with unconditional love, patience & empathy that a child succeeds and therefore, I only use discipline strategies, rather than methods of punishment.
I am happy to prepare & cook meat free meals and take care of pets.
My Experience
I have over 12 years experience with children (Including ADHD and ASD) from 4 months to 18 years. I specialize in behaviour management using positive psychology.
I have worked in America as an au pair, been an activity Instructor, kindergarten/nursery assistant, playworker and teaching assistant.
I have various knowledge and training in safeguarding, mindfulness, mental health awareness, relationships & child development.

Vikki has been the babysitter of my daughter for a year and my daughter always looks forward to be with her. Vikki is very professional and experient; she knows how to talk with my 10 year's daughter with respect and according to her age. Vikki creates a healthy and stimulant environment for kids, always finding new, didactic and fun things to do.

Vikki is well disciplined and is able to apply this appropriately with children. She speaks to children in a tone which matches their intelligence and understanding. My two children (age 3 and 5) had struggles when it came to bedtime especially and Vikki quickly resolved this issue with firm and consistent boundaries. I also often had trouble getting my eldest to eat her meals until Vikki came along. We are so thankful for Vikki and all the creativity, routine and love she provided for our family. Anyone would be lucky to have her.
