I have been using Lil Poppins for a couple of months now. She has minded my two lively boys aged 6 and 8 for occasional after school care and for full day care for a large proportion of the school summer holidays.
My boys loved Lesley from the first time we went to visit the setting. She has a lovely nature and a great way of making the children feel comfortable and at ease from the offset. My boys had been unhappy at the holiday club that I have used in the past, but this summer, I can honestly say they have enjoyed every day they have spent in Lil Poppins care. She has provided constant entertainment, with activities and trips out almost every day, all at her own expense. They have learned new things, been kept very active and made new friends.
They have been provided with proper meals that are sufficient to fill them rather than snack type teas that require topping up when they arrive home.
Lil Poppins is very flexible and has allowed me to add days at short notice or remove days of childcare that have been booked for some time without penalty.
Lil often asks if I think the children are happy and if there is anything I would like to change in order to improve their time with her. I have had nothing to add to the great job she is doing at present and have every intention of continuing to use her for my childcare requirements in the future.
I would happily recommend this child minder to any of my friends or family.
