My husband and I are shift workers. I cannot even begin to tell you how accommodating Sam is. I'm forgetful and disorganised yet she always manages to help me with my little girl at short notice. My 3 year old loves going to Sams. She ha forged some lovely friendships and I think she is thriving in Sams care. If you are looking for a reliable, trust worthy child care provider, look no further.

Overall
What I love most about Sam is that she treats my son like he is part of the family, all while providing him with the kind of educational care you would get at a nursery. She listens to our concerns as parents and works with us on anything we are worried about. She is patient but firm and I know she won't ever be lazy with him. I feel lucky that he has her and I would highly recommend her to other parents.

My husband and I are both shift workers who work full time with a 3 year old! I hate how our shifts impact on our daughter but we are delighted that we found Sam to help with this. She is flexible and always happy to help where she can. However, the most important thing is she is amazing with our daughter. Although our little girl hasn't been with Sam long, shes settled in really well and enjoys her time there. I would highly recommend her!

Sam' has a vocational ability to care for children of all ages in her own home. The family setting, with family members providing assistance and proven quality of care is superb. My son is happy and relaxed both entering and leaving Sam's childminding. My son remains a happy, polite and fun 9 year old, I feel assured that he is both educated in a play setting and nurtured in the same place. I was terrified to leave my son for the first time and now wish I had made the step back into employment years ago. Friendly,loving excellent communication,too notch service all round.

Sam is a very caring child minder and is always doing activity's such as hand painting and then turning it in to a butterfly,helping make a picture and having it above a cubbyhole just for my son. Sam even went to the next level and ask us if she was able to take our child with her to the Howletts zoo.
The house, is just a short distance from Minster village and has a big driveway if you fill the need to pull on the it, to unload your precious cargo. The garden is to the back of the house and is very big with swing, sandpit and other playing equipment.
Home time, at the end of the day Sam will give a brief break down of what they have done while your child has been until Sam's care and the result of any activity's. if there is something that Sam think may be a problem I.E spots, or rashes she will bring it to your attention.

I cannot recommend Sam's childminding enough. She is a warm, loving, fun experienced childminder.
She helped make the settling in process as easy as it could be, and my son certainly made it a challenge, but Sam constantly sought to look at different methods to work us to try smooth the way.
It made it a bit less difficult for me to go back to work, knowing that my son was being really well taken care of. And I love the picture updates I get of what he's up to during the day.
They do lots of creative arts and crafts project. (Me and granddad are a big fan of the 'baking' activities!) and weather permitting have lots of fun outdoors.
Sam's house is very well resourced with interesting things for the children to do, focused on different areas of learning, but with lots of time to just 'be' and enjoy play.
Sam's children are a real pleasure to be around and I feel glad that my boy will have such a warm positive group of people around him in his early years.

My daughter has been going to Sam since she was 9 months old when I returned to work and she loves it there. My partner and I love it there too.
I was naturally very worried about leaving her at the start but Sam did everything she could to help both myself and my daughter settle into her setting. This included settling in days for My daughter and answering lots of texts from me and sending me pictures of her throughout the day to reassure me she was fine.
Her home rivals many of the nurseries I viewed prior to deciding to go with a childminder. She has more toys and play things than Toys R Us and also does lots of other activities with the children such as painting and crafts. We are running out of space in the kitchen to stick all the lovely paintings etc our daughter has made there!
Sam also has a wonderful garden for the children to play in (British weather permitting!) It is huge, so lots of space for burning off all that energy and it is filled with toys including bikes, sandpit, water table and a fabulous homemade kitchen complete with a proper sink and kitchen equipment all of which my daughter loves to play with.
We are so pleased we picked Sam to look after our daughter, she really does have everything that children need to develop, thrive and most importantly be happy and have fun! For me, a childminder also offers a more personal touch than a nursery and allows children the chance to socialise with others and learn without being swallowed in a larger group.

Thanks to Sam and her childminding I am able to work full time knowing my 2 boys are cared for and looked after in a fantastic home full with all the requirements they need. My boys are very happy and settled especially my youngest son who wouldn't try new food or vegetables, since going to sams he's a changed boys and will now eat a balanced varied diet. Thank you Sam x

I have been using Sam for the care of my 22 month old son for nearly a year now and am extremely happy with the level of care and support we have both received during this time. As a parent who was very anxious about leaving my son with someone for the first time, she made that transition smooth and worry free.
I cannot recommend her enough to anyone requiring care for their little ones. Her entire family have been involved with my son since day one and he absolutely loves going and has progressed so well during his time there.
