I’m Joanne Green, a registered childminder with 20 years’ experience. I provide a warm, home-from-home environment where children explore, play, and develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning through Montessori-inspired activities, natural resources, and daily outdoor adventures.

About Me
Hello! I live with my husband, one of my grown-up children, and my granddaughter in a quiet part of the village, running my childcare provision from a welcoming, safe home. My playroom is designed as a home-from-home environment, filled with natural, wooden, and open-ended resources that inspire curiosity, independence, and creativity.
I follow a Montessori-inspired approach, supporting children to develop problem-solving skills, confidence, and a love of learning at their own pace.

How I Support Your Child’s Learning
I provide a balanced mix of child-led play and structured activities, tailored to each child’s individual needs. From sensory play with natural materials to imaginative small-world activities and early mark-making, children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and discover in a safe and nurturing environment.
Outdoor learning is a key part of my provision. Children enjoy daily trips to the local park and community spaces, supporting physical development, social skills, and confidence, while giving plenty of opportunities for fresh air and healthy exercise.
I also co-run a local toddler group, helping children develop confidence, social skills, and a sense of community through play with larger groups.

Before & After School Care
I provide before and after school care for children attending Freckleton C of E School, offering continuity of care, support for working families, and a familiar, nurturing environment.

Safeguarding & Wellbeing
Safety and wellbeing are central to my practice. I maintain up-to-date safeguarding knowledge, follow the EYFS statutory framework, and carry out regular risk assessments. Every child in my care is valued, supported, and kept safe, giving parents peace of mind.

My hours are-
Mon to Thursday from 8am to 5.30pm
I have long and short term contracts available
I also do school drop offs and pick ups from Freckleton c of e school
Jojos childcare setting is open during the school holiday period unless otherwise notified

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Full day session £50(upto 8 hours)
Half day session £30
I can except childcare vouchers from a range of providers and I am also able to offer free childcare places for 2,3 and 4 year olds
My Local Schools
- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Freckleton Church of England Primary School
