I am experienced in working with children from newborn to 12 years old, with the major focus on their physical and emotional wellbeing as well as development. I am an excellent communicator with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work, and a highly creative individual with endless imagination who deeply enjoys working with children.
I enjoy spending time outdoors with children, especially doing activities such as forest school or sensory and creative play, which I provide in my setting, as I believe that children learn the best throughout exploration and using their imagination and creativity.
I am a responsible, patient, organised,adaptable and nurturing nanny with a bubbly, chatty personality bonding with children immediately and I am skilled at building good relationships with them and their parents.
I handle children's behaviour by positive reinforcement by using redirecting techniques and other forms of persuasion through a deep understanding of a child's psychology.

I am currently looking for a new position as my contract ended in December due to family relocation to South Africa. I spent 5 amazing years with this family where I took care of a 5 month old boy and then his newborn sister.
In my previous two positions I was looking after 5 months old twins for two different families till they were ready to go to the nursery so I am highly experienced with newborns and babies.
My Experience
I have experience in working with children from new-born to 16 years within different settings including Montessori nursery and HNW families.
During my work and NVQ training I gained plenty of experience and knowledge how children learn and develop and how to create a stimulating environment and activities appropriate for their level of development. Working with children demands a lot of responsibility and fairness which I have discovered in my 20 years of experience in teaching and looking after children. I have also learnt how to assess children’s progress and how to support them to achieve the goals.
While working in the Montessori I was leading all art and craft activities and projects.
