Mr Brown
Nanny in Coseley (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
SEN-experienced nanny with over 10 years' experience and long-term placements — I specialise in helping children feel safe, understood, and confident.
I'm a calm, patient childcare professional who has supported children from babies to young adults, including those with additional needs. I create a predictable, nurturing environment, and I'm known for building genuine, lasting relationships with the families I work with — several of my placements have run for years, not months.
I'm available for regular care, SEN support, school runs, and ad hoc babysitting.
My Experience
I have supported a non-verbal 12-year-old for over 5 years from my home, helping with communication, emotional regulation, and independence through a range of indoor and outdoor activities, homework support, and everyday care.
During this same period, I also cared for a toddler from my home for over 2 years, supporting him with feeding, changing, and a range of indoor and outdoor activities.
I have also supported another young person with additional needs since he was 9 — he's now 15. This school holiday, I took him bowling as part of a SEN group he attends regularly, supporting him through the sensory and social side of the outing alongside the other children. That's the kind of thing I love being part of — not just supervising, but helping him take part in real experiences and social opportunities.
My background includes nurseries, schools, and children's centres, where I created structured, nurturing spaces for children with a wide range of needs.
I hold an enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid, and SEN-related training.
