My Summary

My Experience

I have a diploma in child care & education level 3 since 2013. I have paediatric first aid training and have worked in several settings voluntarily including: Millmead Primary (year1&year2), St Joseph's Primary (Nursery&Reception), Morgans Primary (year3), The Right Track (baby room) & Busy Bees Day Nursery (baby room).

Worked at a Day Nursery as a lead Practitioner for 2 years, looking after children from 4months to 10 years.

Have been with a previous family for 4 1/2 years full time, I’ve been housekeeper, pet sitter to dogs, lizards, hamsters, cats and even hedgehogs! In my last position I was a nanny to 2 children 8 and 10 for 5 years. I’ve spent time over the pandemic home schooling, dog walking and running errands until the children returned to school.

I’m currently with a family part time Friday after school with a 4 year old and my own children too, in holidays I cover 8:30-5:30 Monday-Wednesday and Fridays. They’ve bonded really well and we spent lots of time at the park and at local classes/ library groups, helping build social skills throughout the holidays.

I’m also currently nannying a 2 year old boy in Hitchin roughly 8-11:30am Mon-Fri Term time, attending playgroups, exploring parks, practicing motor skills, building an understanding of the world. But this sadly comes to a natural end in September when he joins full time nursery.

I also nannied a family of 2 children 5 and 8 years old that I collect and drop from Roecroft school with my 2 children in Stotfold on a term time only basis.

Had left a position as a private nanny part-time for a (8 months at beginning of position) 1 year old and 5 year old. I aided with the running of the home on a day to day basis doing everything from taking children on walks, sensory play, craft activities, child led play and baking, to nappies, bottle feeding, steam cleaning and food preparation.

• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
