About Me

My name is Hana and I am an Ofsted Registered Childcare Provider, and I have been awarded a GOOD in all of the inspection areas in September 2016.
My house is a family home, non smoking with a garden that has been suited for children.

Your child will be made to feel welcome in to this setting and they will gain knowledge and an understanding of the world around them. They will have lots of laughter, through a wide range of plays and interaction with other children. They will be able to learn more about their peers and will be able to learn more about the world around them.

I have a real dedication for life, I am full of energy and I always live a healthy lifestyle, this shows throughout the healthy food I make for the children. I cook fresh and healthy food everyday for the children. I always use a wide range of fruit and raw veg, such as carrots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber or fruit. The children get snacks throughout the day which can be finger foods such as veg sticks, they also get rice cakes and crackers and much more.

I take the children out daily in the outdoors no matter what the weather is. Me and the children enjoy the fresh air and outdoor environment. We go to the Greenwich Park, Library, Mudchute Farm, Ecology park, Pleasaunce Park, Maritime Museum etc. I will take them out in the morning after they have had their breakfast and in the afternoon as well.

The children enjoy daily activities, such as messy play, play dough, painting, sticking drawing etc. The children enjoy playing with construction toys, train tracks, cars, dressing up clothes, building blocks, legos etc.

My Experience

I have a real dedication and enjoyment of my work. I have a vast experience in meeting the needs of babies and young children, band advice, such as weaning, sleep routing, teething, potty training etc. I attend training courses, in my own time, to keep myself updated good references many years experience. Both as a mother of my five children and as a professional childcare provider.

I am currently working as a childminder 5 days a week. I always keep up to date with training for the age and stage of development of the children under my care. I love working with children and their safety, wellbeing and having plenty of opportunities for them to develop to their full potential are my priorities.

My Qualifications

I have completed my childminding training including the Paedratic First Aid course. I have also done a course called 'Being 2' provided by Greenwich Council which focuses on how to support children at age two as it is quite a difficult stage for children. I found this course very interesting.
I have done a safeguarding children course. I have completed my Level Three and Two in Childcare.

My Availability

I am available 5 days a week, Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. I am flexible if there are times required after my normal working hours. I have full time/part time spaces available from July/August/September.

I left my daughter with Hana from when she was 7 months old, and my daughter and I absolutely love her! She is outstanding with young children, and watching my daughter develop under her guidance has been a joy.

She takes the kids out daily and does adventurous activities such as mudchute farm, the ecological park and the maritime museum. If you're looking for a recommendation for an excellent childminder then look no further than Hana. We could not recommend her more.

My daughter has now moved to preschool and already misses Hana, and asks about her all the time. We will stay in touch as she has become a friend as much as a childminder.

Thank you for everything!

Our son has been going to Hana's setting between the age of 5 months to 3 years old (2017-2019). It was supposed to be a temporary solution for a month because we were about start at nursery, but we liked her and her setting so much that we cancelled our nursery registration.

Hana has done an amazing job offering a nurturing, educational and loving environment.  Hana's house is well set up for dealing with young children with a range of educational play equipment that is regularly rotated to keep the children stimulated and learning. Her adaptability was also very welcome to adjust to our son's routine as a young baby (bottle times, nap time, etc.) and her daily outings were pretty essential to keep our active toddler happy. We further appreciated that the outings were making the most of all the local resources for learning or getting to learn about Nature: the library (including rhyme time), the Maritime Museum, Mudchute Farm, the Ecology Park and Greenwich Park. Our son enjoyed all the singing activities and often sung the songs he learned. We could often tell if he had been to rhyme time.

The food was home-made and healthy which was a very important thing for us. Our son still likes vegetables which is a nice team-work success. Hana was able to adjust the food for our son's (moderate) cow's milk protein allergy and we never had any issue. With Hana's help we also managed to stop using the dummy when we thought the time was right and successfully managed potty training, we feel that it went very smoothly.

We always knew about the progress and milestones because Hana always found the time to let us know how the day went at the end of each day. Hana always has a smile on her face, regardless of how busy the day is and it really communicates how much she loves her job. We also enjoyed the regular photos she sent on weekends showing the recent activities and outings.

The setting has a great family feel and Hana's experience is invaluable which makes her it a great place for little children in the early years. We will miss it! We couldn't have been happier with our choice of childcare!

Briefly I would like to describe my adventure with Hana’s Daycare. In January 2016 my son Jacob started going to Hana. She was recommended by the friend of my friend. I never regretted my decision. Over three years for Jacob was attending her daycare from a little baby he became a little boy, ready and prepared for school. He became an adventurous, sociable, well – mannered boy willing to learn and participate in everything and everywhere.
The way how he is now I am greatful to Hana’s hard work and have to say great “thank you” to her and her wonderful family. I am proud of my son. He spend three long days over three years in Hana’s childcare and he was always happy there.

I can see the benefit of him going to Hana’s instead of the nursery. He learned how to play with children of various age. He is sharing and caring especially with younger ones. I can see it at home when playing with his 2,5 half younger sister. Jacob was never exposed to stress of constantly changing staff but instead at Hana’s childminder setting he had a steady, peaceful, warm and learning environment.

Since Jacob started talking he was able to tell me what he was doing and how his day was. Always I heard: “ Mama, I am happy at Hana’s”. He loved going to the Mudchut Farm, Ecology Park, Greenwich Park, Park Pleasaunce, Greenwich Maritime Museum, rhyme time and other various places. From the regular photos that Hana sent me I could see how he is enjoying his day e.g. going out, playing stimulating games, learning and spending time with books and other activities (drawing, painting, baking, washing dolls, singing etc). Jacob became very much independent with dressing himself, eating habits (e.g.using utensils), going to the toilet by himself. He knows the hygiene rules.

Apart from things he learned, he is a very cheerful and enthusiastic child, not crying when we dropped him to Hana's in the morning.

I do strongly recommend Hana and her childcare staff sincerely. I always had piece of mind leaving my children there. After 2 years my daughter Miriam joined her brother. I was not anxious. I was confident I am leaving my children in experienced and caring hands of Hana who is a trustworthy, cooperative and reliable professional. It is a great pleasure to get to know her as a person of good moral and family values. If we did not have to move this summer, I wished my daughter continued going and growing at Hana’s (my son is starting reception this September). It is very heartbreaking for me and my husband we have to leave due to our relocation.

Hana, thank you for all, you have done for us!!!

My daughter Ember started at Hana's Daycare when she was about 9 months old. That was the best decision we made and I could've NOT wished for a better care for my child. From the moment we stepped into her settings we knew she is the person I can fully trust.
Hana, her assistant Liiri and the rest of her family became a big part of our family and Ember was always very excited to go there any day.
Not only Ember absolutely LOVED spending time there, we became very good friends with other parents and started socialising outside too. All the kids who were part of Hana's became good friends and we started spending our kids bdays and doing other activities together.

The childminder setting is clean, fun, full of creative activities and very educational also. Not mentioning the trips to: Greenwich Park (and other local parks), Maritime Museum, local libraries, Ecological Park, Mudchute farm on daily basis is a dream for any city based child.
Plus a huge amount of various creative activities when stay indoors (collecting cockers and leaves and using them for various art displays at Autumn, or fun play with water in the garden during hot summer, not counting the endless painting or songs and dancing sessions at afternoons).

Hana is a very caring person who genuinely loves all her kids and they love her back. She is loving, creative and energetic and you know your child not only will receive plenty of hugs and love but also a day full of adventure and fun. Plus the homemade food prepared by Ben (husband!) always smelled so nice...

We were beyond upset that we had to end her time at Hana's and that was only due to the house move further from the area. We even tried to make the journey work every morning for next for 2 months but it it was just a bit too far.

Ember left when she was nearly 3 years old and is fully prepared for a nursery: she speaks full sentences using plenty of vocabulary, knows all the songs out there ( I didn't even know some of them exist :-), recognises all the letters and numbers and counts to 30. Plus is full of life, curiosity, and perfectly understand social situations.
We are beyond grateful and from the bottom of our heart thank you very much for everything.

We definitely be in touch as we know Ember will be missing Hana and the rest of the family. Ember is very lucky she had Hana's love and monitorship in her early years of life and I'm sure this will have a great impact of the years to come.

Thank you very much! Mira and Adam x

I thoroughly recommend Hana. Hana has looked after my son from 8 months old to 4 years old and throughout that time provided excellent care for him. She has helped and supported him through every stage of his development such as weaning, sleeping, potty training, self care and social and educational development. It was reassuring and important for me to know that each day he was going to a safe, happy, clean, homely environment where he would be loved, learn lots, have lots of fun and be well cared for.

Hana has great enthusiasm and energy and has brilliant ways of entertaining the children. In her house, Hana prepared games such as playing with dinosaurs in ice blocks, cars in shaving foam, baking, sand and water activities, arts and crafts, dressing up, building dens, games with numbers and letters etc. Its also great that she takes the children out every day to the local attractions such as parks, farms, woods and museums.

Hana is also great at providing regular feedback on my son’s development. At the end of each day, Hana took the time to tell me her observations of what my son did and learned that day. He also had a daily diary and a record book of his progress throughout his time with Hana which included observations of new words or skills which my son had learned, photos of him and pictures he had drawn.

Hana and my son had a strong bond and my son loved going to her; it was his second family and she will be missed now that he has moved on to pre school. I’m so pleased that we had Hana in my son’s life. Hana helped him develop into a confident, social, polite and kind little boy. Thank you Hana!
